In my best maurry povich voice acording to the report logs that is a lie.
DamnâŚbusted lol.
You donât make the rules. This is private property. Blizzard makes the rules. Profanity (both clear and masked) is against the rules. Insults, toxic chat, political, sexual, and religious topics are against the rules. As a note, for chat violations, the first offense has changed to a week silence, and the second is a week suspension. They tend to double for each subsequent offense and can eventually result in the account being closed.
Also, it doesnât matter what someone else says or doesnât say. I report rule breaking chat whenever I see it. I donât care who itâs from. Youâll never find out what actions were taken against someone elseâs account. Itâs very likely those other people found themselves on the receiving end of a suspension too. Even if you donât report them, there are people that do. And it only takes one report to trigger an investigation.
Try âBut officer, everyone always speeds on this road, I wasnât going nearly as fast as that Ferrari I saw the other dayâ in real life sometime and see how well that works out for you.
Also, it doesnât matter what you think of the content in the game. Blizzard decides what goes into the game. The chat rules that players have to abide by are completely separate from that.
Thatâs advice to help avoid potential hot topics. You can discuss those topics in game as long as itâs done respectfully. Iâve done it in the past at least and never been reported (or at least enough for it to result in a punishment).
However, some people are unable to discuss those topics without being toxic or inflammatory. Those people should avoid those topics in game if they canât control themselves. Obviously I havenât seen what you said, but if it warranted punishment, Iâd avoid it in the future.
I donât say even HALF the stuff everyone else says.
Guess you should shoot for ONE QUARTER or maybe ONE TENTH
Enjoy touching the grass though
If you canât say anything nice, donât say anything is a great policy.
I will never understand the logic of people who break the rules, know they broke the rules, know blizzard can see every instance of them breaking the rules, but still think they can come here and play innocent, and expect it to work.
I will forever enjoy reading these threads though.
