Charlie, my friend

There’s one right now. It’s called MM, and all you have to do is dissmiss your pet. Wait though that’s an extra button to push.

You can pick lone wolf, if you want to intentionally gimp yourself. You could play a mage without a main hand weapon too if you want, nothing stops you.

With lone wolf you lose pathfinding, master’s call, 10% leech, bloodlust, +5% health, mortal wounds, extra slow, roar of sacrifice. On top of that you are expected to lust so you have to give up damage to do that.

Lone wolf was a band-aid. 11.1 is the fix.

Now you are changing your facetious narrative, you said it wasnt possible, that was a lie, it is possible

You were just salty it wasnt the most optimal choice - Despite people here conflicting this information all the time, with some saying it was mandatory and other saying it was pointless and no one used.

This is your point:

Those are lies. You can do that just fine for several expansions by now.

You like the changes great, don’t try to lie about it to make your argument stronger attached to emotion, its fake

Um, Ok.

Anyway they knew this would be controversial. So they’re falling back to the core of what they want MM to be, right there on the spec page. “A master sharpshooter who excels in bringing down enemies from afar.”

BM is all about pets. You’ve got a great spec to go play. MM is all about being an expert at ranged combat. You’ve got traps, you’ve got slows, you’ve got incaps, all the tools you need to bring your foes down.

Blizzard has made the right choice for moving forward with the core of the spec.

you already could do that, just fine, now they removed the option to have a pet and slapped a dumb bird

This is not a fix, when the fix could have pleased both sides

This is a moronic answer, stop doing it, they both play different, is not the same, and telling people to play BM is the same as me saying you to play another game who have archers

“jUsT pLaY aNoThEr SpEc”

If you think no pets are fine then just dont use them - others keeping pets literally doesnt affect you and has nothing to do with you so shush.

I think it’s important to acknowledge that some people would like not to have their pets removed. Pets, for me, are the lowest denominator. Its all about the ranged physical dps playstyle for me. Still, I would play MM if they removed Lone Wolf and forced pets and I would play MM if they kept Lone Wolf with pet option and I would play MM if they removed pets completely. I don’t have much of a dog in this fight. All I know is I want to try it out on the ptr. If it feels good. If it plays well. If it is satisfying, I will be happy.

I know they said there would be options to customize your animal companion. We don’t know what that looks like yet. Might be in the form of allowing you to use a stabled pet of your choice. My preference on how they handle the pet issue is going to come down to how does the spec feel to play. Where are its new or existing weaknesses? Where do I feel it lacks the most? I think its going to be the longer Aimed Shots that bug me the most.

I hope Blizz has a satisfying plan on how to address the pet concerns.

I can do that for them!

BM or Surv.

I mean, yeah. That is definitely a choice.

I am here for feedback to blizzard not to have name calling competitions. Your opinion and my opinion are both valid opinions as paying customers, there is no need to insult one another because those opinions differ.

It’s really not, I don’t have 20 years worth of time, achievements, lore investment or love for another game.

OP can use a companion pet of a dog so his former pet can play with him and not be put in harms way ever again, or he could go BM.

I for one welcome the change of archery actually being put in the Hunter class.

When your “opinion” is “get stuffed, go play another spec LOL” your opinion is a vallid as a pile of trash

It rly is, if you want an archer play another game, simple as that.

And what about the people who have 20 years worth of time, achievements, lore investment and love for their MM spec and their pet? they can get screwed and pick another spec, but you cant pick another class or game? booohooo

So by your own words your opinion isn’t very valid… got it… Take care bud, I wish you luck.

Nice try friend, but im posting stuff like that, as sarcasm, exactly to show how you and others, who tell people to play other spec are full of crap

I already said many times we should get the changes - and no lame bird - and the option to still have the pet

Yeah, my opinion is more valid than yours, because isnt rly an opinion, is a sensible statement that please both sides

lmao

except it doesn’t ?

Except it does, you get all the changes suggested, and people get to keep their pets

Or your pleasure depends of other people getting their options robbed from then?

I want to play MM as what can be, unburdened by what has been.

I don’t want to use pet for it’s white autoattacks that have 0 synergy with the rest of MM kit.

So yeah, you want to play on the expanse of other players when both playstyles are possible.

got it, is schadenfreude thing

Then dont use it, you are not forced to it

If it’s free dmg it’s forced.

“They took Survival. So what. You still have two specs to play.” - Legion pre-patch

“You can still play BM” - Now

My favorite, “You can play SV.”

The argument is even more condescending now than it was then.
