I got characters missing on the forums, as in they don’t show up to select them.
No they aren’t transfers.
They’re over a month old.
I literally play my paladin every day and she’s not appearing.
Characters need to be above level 10 to use the forums.
Log in and out of the forums a few times to refresh your list of available forum characters.
It may help to log the character out of the game first and shut down the game using the quit button rather than Alt-F4.

If logging in and out doesn’t do it, then try changing your account’s password. Sometimes that’s the boot to the bum it needs to refresh itself.
