Happening to me as well, and it also appears to be causing me to be unable to use the guild UI properly. I cannot select other members to upgrade them, but was able to do so when I was still showing as Vapyr.

Exact thing is happening to me , in guild my old name on my old server is showing, I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, still the same issue. This all happened after the 16 hour patch, I really hope they fix this soon seems like a ton of people have the same issue, guild cant even see me , very frustrating and then my ticket says 23 freaking days , If i hadn’t already bought the expansion not sure i would play now
I was able to transfer GM from my bugged toon to a toon that isn’t, however, I can’t change the ranks of other toons that are bugged.
Happening to me as well, can’t use any of my Officer abilities.
Same thing happening on all my transferred toons and can’t use any officer/gm abilities. It’s weird because sometimes it fixes it self and then it will revert back at other times. Hopefully they fix this soon.

This has happened to me on a few of my characters that I’ve transferred around; however I encountered this today as well: I’m unable to rank up those characters in our guild. I’m an officer and one character is now showing in the correct realm, but I can’t make her anything higher than a recruit because it is saying that the account does not have an authenticator attached to it, and I absolutely do.
Has anyone else experienced this issue in conjunction with the realm issue?
This is happening to me as well and I’m disappointed to see there is no fix. Luckily, I’m not a GM/Officer so it doesn’t have a huge impact on my playstyle.
its a known bug with no workaround right now per Bliz, 4 days ago. having the same issue.

I have the same issue. I realm transferred about a week ago and started a guild. I am unable to access the tab when clicking on characters in the guild roster to edit ranks or notes. Another one of my guild members is having same issue. It does seem to randomly work correctly, and even when seeing myself with wrong name it may show it correctly to some guild members. Also shows wrong character level, it shows the level I transferred not the level I currently am.
Thought this was just a weird addon issue, so glad it’s known by Blizz and they’re working on it. I can’t even remember using the name that my main is appearing as right now.
Same here. I am unable to be invited to a raid in my own guild.
To invite people who are experiencing the error, you have to type their correct name-server. Right clicking their bugged name from the guild window will not work, but you can absolutely be invited to raid.
For instance, someone wanting to invite or whisper the alt you posted from would have to type:
/invite Munsen-Pagle
or
/whisper Munsen-Pagle
It’s annoying if the person’s current name has a bunch of accents, but grouping or messaging is still very doable.
My guild’s problem is all the officers are broken, so nearly everyone of our newly-transferred guild is stuck as initiate. Super awkward.

It appears to be fixed for me on this toon specifically. I didn’t do anything special, it just fixed itself after about a week.

Noticed yesterday my main is having this issue in both guild and communities - shows me at level 50 on an old server and doesn’t show me online or in the list at all for communities.
So my guild doesn’t even know I’m online because of this issue. 700+ people on the WoW team and NO ONE can address this? This should be a #1 issue. We PAID REAL MONEY to transfer to another server. Fix it.
