I logged in fine and my character is on the realm list, however when I click play it tries to load then kicks me out and says my character isn’t found.

You’d think they would be ready for this sort of thing. It’s beyond annoying…
I am having the same issue. Most of my characters are located on The Forgotten Coast, I haven’t tried the other realms where I have small characters
Now I can’t even get in to play, I can hop between realms but characters aren’t showing nor an option to create a new one

Same exact thing: “Character not found”, and if you try to switch between servers, the character screen is completely black (as if you don’t have any toons).

Yea same here. I tried to follow the steps that fixed it back into Oct. but no dice.
Same here, “Character not found” after loading 75% of the way.
Exact same. Load to 75% then black out ‘Character Not Found’

yeah i get the same thing none of my toon are showing and can’t resub with gold or log in any toon
Welcome to a completely normal expansion launch. buggy, loads of load lag, etc etc etc. keep trying, be patient, this happens every expansion release. Yes it sucks, yes it shouldn’t happen and doesn’t happen as much on other games, but it seems normal for WoW. Release of WoD was nuts. Ques over 10,000 long. Just as bad with Legion. Wrath I couldn’t get in for hours.
