Character won't load in in Dragonflight content/zones

all of my characters that are in dragon isles zone or in any dragonflight content wont load in… everytime i enter world on a character that are in aforementioned content would either get stuck in a loading screen with the loading bar full or be booted out back to the character screen and be given a message: “a character with that name already exists” this has been happening for 3 days now… now ive tried on several characters that are NOT in dragongflight content/zones and they would load in just normal…

Many of us are having it happen…I was trying to lvl up my HM Rogue and can’t even stay logged with her in the game…

Yep. My main is stuck in limbo too. No zone even listed anymore on the character creation selection screen. Has been stuck since last night.

so is this just dragonflight content or…? cause me its very specific to dragonflight content. weird

Same issue here, only on characters currently in Valdrakken.

Glad I’m not the only one with this issue. Same things happening with me. Either can’t log in a character as the client gets stuck at a full loading bar, or immediately booted back out of the game once logged in, and then getting the can’t login message. Thought it might ne a UI issue, but disabling addons did nothing to fix the issue.

There’s no excuse for this. Some folks have been dealing with ti for days. Blizz needs to wake up and get busy. Are they just going to wait for tomorrow’s reset and hope that fixes it?

i even tried to uninstall the game and install it again but to no fruitful result

Ongoing issue in Dragonflight zones, constantly locking up…finally able to hearth to orgrimmar, fine ever since !!

And this being the 4th of July weekend …nothings going to get done at all…till tomorrow which is a holiday but we have rolling restarts tomorrow listed.

I posted on Twitter too CS Blizzard and this is what they tweeted back too me just now…“We continue to actively monitor an ongoing DDOS attack which is affecting latency/connections to our games.”

Same issue here. I closed the game and the Battlenet, waited about 10 mins, restarted both and then was able to log into the game

A DDOS attack? lmao…that’s not it Blizz…I can log into characters NOT IN Dragonflight areas just fine. I’ve got a character in SW right now, logged in with no lag or issues. Tried to log into a character in Valdrakken, stuck at loading screen.

For me it happens with trying to enter FH or other old world instances.

Game is currently unplayable for me right now. My main was locked for hours yesterday with constant loading screen disconnects. I can’t zone into DF zones without getting disconnected then not being log into that character. Not even a blue post about it which is insane.
