Character Transfer

I’m posting this here because I can’t seem to find the information.

My wife passed away on June 9th of this year. We had been married for 17 years. We met through World of Warcraft. I lived in Colorado and she lived in Michigan. We’d know each other in game for a little over a year before we met in person. During that intervening period we became good friends. One of the many things we did was have our characters get married in game. My druid Haruchai and her hunter Lairdriin were married in Darnassus and joined by our fellow guildmates. We hit things off amazingly well and we were married in March of 2007.

We played WoW together for up through Lich King before she stopped playing WoW. My tracker shows it’s been 12 years since she last logged in but that was from Diablo 3 I’m certain.

Is it at all possible that I can get her hunter transferred to my account from her account. I can provide all the information needed to validate any kind of account activity and can provide a death certificate if needed.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately, they no longer allow transfers between battle.net accounts for anyone. Not even if the accounts are under the same name.

We have seen them, in the past, provide a loved one access to the other account in a situation like this though. But it still wouldn’t be possible to move them :frowning:

Sorry for your loss.

Currently there is no way to transfer characters between bnet accounts, even for accounts you own. This was disabled before TWW released and GM staff can not bypass that.
