Character Transfer Token Not Appearing

Hello there,

I purchased a character transfer from the launcher store and was told to login to the game to use the transfer. I’ve checked the order status and it’s labeled as “Complete” and from everything I’ve read I should have the token on screen in-game since it’s “Completed”. There is no token on the character select screen, just wondering if there’s an issue somewhere or if just have to wait longer (in which case, “Complete” may not be a great event flag).

Give it 24hrs then open a problem with purchase ticket.

Yup will do. Didn’t want to make a ticket yet because of that. Though most responses I could find would indicate “Complete” means token is delivered, and “Pending” you give it 24 hours.

It generally should, but these can be delayed on occasion so we like to give it a bit of time for everything to process.

Nothing looked to be amiss with your purchase. I’d say give it a few hours for the token to show up.

Does this also apply when we gift someone the wow base game or an expansion? Is there a waiting period even though my gift order says “complete” and they received the email instructions???

Sometimes a purchase is instant, sometimes it takes up to 24 hours. Generally, Blizzard will suggest waiting for the 24 hour period to pass before worrying about it.

Some payment processors are slower than others. PayPal, for example tends to take longer as they can do additional processing between Blizzard and the bank.

I would international payments may take a bit longer. Some international payment processors can require 4-5 days.

A payment marked “complete” requires data base updates and the time needed for that may vary by what else is happening within the system at the time - e.g. major sales, etc…
