It’s been 4 hours since I started a character transfer. Does this not seem a little long for a transfer?
While most character services are usually instant, they can take up to 24 hours. If that point rolls around and it still hasn’t processed, then something is certainly wonky.
Though if you sent mail to the character you’re transferring shortly after initiating said transfer, that becomes irrelevant and you’ll need to reach out to a GM, if I’m not mistaken.

Ekon is correct. If a transfer takes longer than 24 hours then please do open a support ticket.
It does look like you sent mail to your character after starting the transfer though. Like Ekon said, that will block the transfer from going through and you will need to open a support ticket to have the transfer canceled so you can clear out your mail and retry it.

I have tried to open a ticket in game and keep getting the same error. It says “You can’t submit this ticket”.
There is a known issue with some ticket submission where certain words/combinations are getting blocked. The overall issue is being worked on, but in the meantime, try just using the word Test, then you should be able to edit the ticket text after.
