Character transfer stuck on processing

Bought a character transfer a couple of days ago on classic and it was almost instant. Bought one for this priest from Whitemane to Pagle, said it had an average wait time of about 30 minutes, but it’s been several hours since then. Is there something wrong with my character or, is the system messed up currently and causing people to experience longer than average times?

There is a lot of stuff going on this week, pre patch and all that, things could be just plain slow. Give it 24 hours, and if something doesn’t happen then, files a “Problem with Purchse” ticket to get the ball rolling.

Generally we expect character transfers to be completed within 24 hours. Often the complete much faster, but we don’t consider there to be an issue until after 24 hours have passed. Understandable concern! The gold cap checks are only in place for the initiation of the service. So, if you have more than the cap allows you’d be blocked from starting the service. If the cap is changed AFTER you start a service, it won’t affect any transfers that are in progress. Looking at your character trans…

Transfers are taking a little longer than normal to process right now but they are going through. We’ve got folks keeping an eye on the service as well, just in case.

if it helps i’m having the same problem. Except mine might be bugged more. I went to move a toon of mine on Sulfuras to Deviate Delight not realizing that the toon on Sulfuras was Alliance, and DD I have all horde toons. Although it let me do the payment and processed it and under my account transactions, it shows it as completed. My ticker on the toon’s name on Sulfuras has said “1hr 58 minutes” for the last 3 hours. Opened a ticket but have not heard anything.
