Character transfer question

Before purchasing a character transfer, I would like to know how many of your bank tabs will transfer with the character. For example, if you have purchased the maximum amount of bank tabs and fitted them with 20 or 22 slot bags, will these all transfer with the character? And if so, will the contents of the bags also transfer?

When I realm transferred my bank, all of the slots, all the bags, and all the contents came with the character.

Thanks for the info Zun. Never transferred a toon before, so was just curious about the bank tabs.

I initiated a character transfer from Alexstraza to Stormrage back in December, and it STILL hasn’t gone through. They took my money, and left my character locked up. All tickets just went 'round in circles, no contact-backs, no nothing. Good thing I went through PayPal for this, I can let PP get my bucks back.

Pulling a charge back is not recommended, you probably will be locked out of your account for good.

Do you have a ticket number? Usually if you open a ticket it will be responded to, but stating “it went round in circles” and “no contact-backs” are opposite facts. So it makes me wonder if they replied to your ticket, but you replied by email and then heard nothing after?

Is this on a different account, Blossym? I only see two tickets in your ticket history and both of them are using the self-help automated unstuck system, which would not have any impact on a character service.

I do see a character transfer initiated on the 21st of December. It looks like there was a validation error, which usually means mail or some other issue caused the transfer to fail.

In those cases you’d put in a ticket under the “purchase failure” category.

No, not a peep either in email or in-game. It used to be easy to get help, even though it took maybe a week or so, but the new system and I seem to be…incompatible. As far as ticket numbers are concerned, all the system ever did was bounce me to the “Stuck Character” move tab, and then tell me “It couldn’t be fixed, but give us a glowing recommendation for our awesome awesomeness that is awesome.”
Truth be told, after all the time I’ve spent trying to sort this out, and getting nowhere, I am pretty much at my end for this.
Seriously, when my sister starts giving me concerned looks and gentle questions about how I am feeling, 'cause I’ve started munching on my hair, out of stress, well, that’s the limit I guess. Sorry I didn’t get back right away, but I had family-care things to deal with, above and beyond my usuals.
Oh, I only have the one account, i am not THAT hopeless and lifeless, lol. Lotsa alts, though…

Make a ticket using the link that Vrak posted above, for purchase failure.

It looks like you had been trying to use the self-help option to move a character. That option simply moves a character when it has done something like fallen through the game world or died and the body/graveyard can’t be reached.

Using that doesn’t make a ticket really, it’s all automated. That’s why you never would have gotten a response.

Putting in a proper ticket for purchase failure (again linked above) should get your character sorted out quickly. They tend to prioritize character services that involve real money.

Hope you can get it all squared away soon. And go back to enjoying the game rather than stressing over it!
