I’m trying to transfer a character from one WoW account to another, but keep the character the same faction.
The in game menu will not allow me to set the destination server as it does not show up on the list, even if I check the box that says move to different account.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What realm are you attempting to type? What realms are displayed should be based on what letters are in the box. So if I were to enter “Se” I’d see Sen’jin, Sentinels and Ysera and could select one of those.
I try to type Maelstrom and have been through the list and its not there.
Typing Mael seems to display the “Maelstrom” realm for me to select, Fim. Have you tried completely restarting the client?
Just to be sure, you aren’t trying to transfer a character that is on Maelstrom are you? If you are, you don’t need to fill out that box, but leave it blank since you aren’t actually transferring the character across realm. That is the only time that I can see the name not showing up when you try to enter it.
It worked with leaving the realm name blank. Thank you.
