I made a new account tonight to transfer my hunter off my origin account to the new one. I saw I needed to have the same account name as my origin account, therefore I created it with the same name. Unfortunately, when I went to purchase the transfer, I got the message “the destination account must have been created by the same person as the origin account”. Why did this happen?
Think the problem is the 2 accounts are under 2 different names thats usualy how hackers work your gona have to open a problem with purchase ticket and talk to billing.
Thats why the second account I made had the same name as my orgin. But interesting didn’t think about hackers.
Like i said open a problem with purchase ticket and talk to billing thats your best option.
The new Blizzard account you created does not own World of Warcraft. You are not able to transfer a character to an empty Blizzard account.
You’ll need to purchase World of Warcraft on your new Blizzard account and it will need to be upgraded to Battle for Azeroth to be eligible to receive a character from your current WOW account.
