Character Title Missing

Since I got it in Legion, I’ve been using the “Headmistress” title.
After speaking to someone today, I noticed that my title is no longer on my character nor is it showing in the list of title options.
Where did it go?
I don’t know off-hand if any others are missing but can someone please look into/fix this? I appreciate it.

It is a known issue and is being looked into. While you can go back and reclaim it at the Academy, it leaves again upon logging out.

There is at least one post about it in the Bug Report forum. It would be a good idea to submit one in game as well.

Headmaster / Headmistress Title gone

I logged in after the patch to find out that my two characters who had the Headmistress title not only no longer has it, but the title doesn’t even show up in the list anymore. My bf who had the Headmaster title was titleless upon login as well and couldn’t find the title in his list either. I usually don’t bother with Archeology but went out of my way doing that questline that only comes around every once in a couple months just to get that title and now it’s… gone? Is this a bug, or was it …

I posted on Twitter hoping to get a response sooner than a ticket, but it couldn’t hurt to try that too. I just didn’t want to go nuts over it if they know about it.
I hope no others are missing.

I use this title and also noticed it was gone. Got a ticket response from a GM and he said not enough information is known about the bug and they are looking into it. He also told me that wowhead showed people going back to get the title only to log out and losing it again.
He suggested that more people report the bug in game so they can escalate it and it can get fixed.

Yes, they are aware of it. As per what the GM told to a few others that submitted a ticket (see above), please report the bug in game to help the issue get escalated / get more attention and priortized on the things that they would be working on getting it fixed.
