My hunter is stuck- dead, can’t release spirit, teleport to graveyard not doing anything. The ‘stuck’ hearth action runs and nothing happens. I’ve reloaded, restarted, disabled all my AddOns and nothing has changed. To make things all the more frustrating, the Unable to Move section of In-game Support is completely broken and unusable. Help, please?

Have you tried the in-game script to see if it can help release your spirit?
/script RepopMe()
Copy/Paste it exactly how it is listed with the capitol R and M.
Also, if your spirit is near water with a fatigue zone, try going into the fatigue zone and dying again.

I had this problem too. I got around it by joining a party and then leaving it. As I was in a dungeon, it told me I was no longer in the group and ported me out to a graveyard.

Are you receiving an error after using the script?
What issue is preventing your corpse from releasing on its own?
Have you tried using the automated service to have it move your character to a different location?

I tried this - it just moved my corpse to just inside the raid (doing Ulduar achievements) but I still can’t release spirit, says a member of my group is in combat even though I’m soloing.

This thread is 3 years dead. Your issue is different from what the old issue was, and you will have to invite someone else in to the raid, and then both log off for at least 30 minutes.

I was soloing. I don’t have anyone to invite and then both log off for 30 minutes 
Then you would need to use the self help character stuck tool found on the website while logged out of the game and launcher.

For anyone who has the same issue and happens to come across this old thread…I was stuck dead inside of an instance, unable to to release. The button was unclickable as if someone was still in combat (I was solo and not in group inside of instance). The script from above and the Move Character service from Blizzard didn’t work either. The way I was able to fix it was by joining a random raid group (for a world boss or something) and then leaving the group, as someone else said up above. You will respawn outside the instance in 1 minute.
