Not an excuse!
Really, I’ve been in I.T. for over 30 years. This much failure is horrible, I would love to work for a gaming company based of these failures and they still have jobs.

Has there been an update from a different post or something stating if there was a work around or not?

I was able to play earlier today stepped away and now same issue as last night :frowning:

What gets me is that I was just playing 30 minutes ago just fine. Logged out for a bit, and now the game can’t find my characters.

same issue as last night. Seems like this issue should not have happened last night let alone happened again tonight.

I screwed up. Nonncombat pet wouldn’t dismiss. Logged out, now can’t log back in

…because if you’ve been working in I.T for 30 years, you’d know that something this size is going to have masses of issues.

I was able to login and play fine last night, today I get this error on all toons on all realms.

If your bank did this - would it be OK? How about Amazon? or Ebay? They seem to handle it. This is a failure - -and it falls squarely on Ion hazzikostas.

same issue, I logged out of the game came back in, and now it shows I have no chars on any server

Sad… I reported on Sick Leave today just to check what this pre-patch is all about and now my character is missing. :sob:

happening again to me and i was just playing logged out to update addons and boom it started again

what they should have done…was nothing. Not release the patch. Its ok to delay its not ok to make me pay for something I cant use.

Activision and Blizzard Entertainment merged in 2008.

And, my characters are all missing as well from Thrall and Stormrage.

Edit: My characters showed up after about 2 mins on the black background screen but when I try to log in I get “Character Not Found” message

same! :frowning: none of my 7 characters are to be found on area 52

Same problem happened yesterday after an additional update and today. Even though I logged in luckily yesterday, I got huge lags when using a skill!

Managed to play for 1 hr on my main, ran old raid, killed some WB in panda, tried to switch toons and character not found. Ran scan and repair on wow ,said nothing to repair. Now i have no toons on any realms. Just realm list opens

good to know that works…that’s what I keep trying hoping one of these will stick :confused:

I’m able to log in, but I end up in EverQuest. Very tedious.
