Character Not Found

Why is this kind of stuff still happening in a 15+ year old game? “Character not Found” on every realm I have characters. Just another failure from the Game Director. It’s time to fire Ion Hazzikostas. Pure failure.

Blizz has no control over any game any more its Activision now … so we as gamers cant blame Blizz any more

this is the first time they ever did a level squish. do you seriously think there wouldn’t be any problems the first week?

Same issues multiple accounts, no characters found or after having logged in now “character not found” problems.
Ever wonder if the monkey’s at blizzard actually know what the purpose of beta testing is ?

yeah theres bound to be problems the first couple of days of a new patch, but no need to throw a temper tantrum

same problem. no character on any realm even thou I have toons on a few servers.

same issue as last night, this is ridiculous…first realms take forever to load, then when i get to the list no character numbers appear next to the realm name, when i manually select it i get a black screen for a while trying to retrieve the characters …when they finally load and im in the loading screen for the world it then says character not found

None of my wifes characters are showing up now. Last night after manipulating the realm list her characters showed up. Today nothing is working.

For the character not found bug, the fix is stupid but it works. Just log onto the same character over and over again until eventually it forces you into the game. Stressed me out last night but it should do the trick.

Why’re you complaining about a 15 year old game, be happy with what you got, you’re lowering everybody’s IQ by sitting here crying when there are real issues that don’t orient around a forum troll.

Things were fine until now. Well far from bug-free but the characters were all there. All 12 just went bye-bye.

I was surprised the servers were even up today the level squish is a major change. One expects major problems over at least a week from such an ambitious endeavor.

I’m assuming it’s a time out somewhere due to server lag, but I’ve been repeatedly trying to log into a character for the past 20 minutes with no luck so far. I checked the customer support section and there is a thread about this with a blue response, so it’s at least something they are aware of.
