Character Not Found

Is this a component of the DDOS attack, or something else to be concerned of? Guild mates are online, 30+ m and I cannot get in.

Same problem. Created a new character on separate realm and it works fine. None of my Whitemane toons will load in.

Same, on whitemane as well. My friend can log in just fine but not me.

Same here got DCed yesterday cause of the DDOS attacks stayed logged off until now and keeps saying character not found. When alot of my guild mates are able to get online.

Same issue here, people from same group are back online.

Same thing. Whitemane realm. Unable to login on any characters. Initially, there is a black screen that doesn’t display any characters when I choose Whitemane. Then, when my characters are displayed, I try to log in only to receive a ‘Character Not Found’ notification after the attempt seemingly times-out in the last 10-15% of the loading progress bar. :frowning:

This is so depressing/demotivating. Thanks for letting me know I am not alone, though. I hope Blizzard can understand the nuances of this result from the most recent DDOS.

Same Whitemane here too, Logged off in Ironforge last night can’t get on my buddies are on fine though.

I was disconnected on a flight path, and can’t log in. New characters on whiteman work though…frustrating.

Put in a ticket i know they probably wont be able to help but hey worth a shot.

I am also Whitemane, so this seems to be a Whitemane-heavy problem. Perhaps it is related to a specific shard?

I’ve encountered that in the past where due to multiple dc’s and such I’d get a character error. You may have to put a support ticket into blizz about the issue

Same problem on whitemane, cant log in on any toons also cant create a toon on this server

I tried to log on elsewhere to make a support ticket, but it’s not working for me either. Arghh D:

Same here as well. Whitemane, Horde. Most of my friends are back on, but I’m stuck in the loop. I tried creating a new character as well, but no bueno. I can still log in to my characters on Mankrik.

Edit: I should also add I did a game scan/repair. No errors found. My problem persists.

not sure but you should be able to make a ticket from the bnet website I think? if nothing else. though if everyone’s having this problem it could be more related to the ddos attacks
