Hi,
I’m having issues logging into my characters. I keep trying to log in, only to have my loading screen freeze around 90% and then fail. It’s immediately followed by the message “character not found.” Another person in my household is having the same issue. Is this an issue on Blizzard’s side or our side?

Same literally just started when I switched toons. Wondering if world server for Shadowlands is down?
Edit to add: It’s just my toons on shadowlands locations that are having issues. Alts at other locations seem to be fine.
Same as well. My friend who is also on my realm though is still online currently.
Same here. I’m in discord with guildies who are doing arenas currently. They don’t seem to be having any issues?
Also having this issue and now when the realm list comes up none of the realms I have characters on is showing up (Garona, Balnazzar ann Skullcrusher).
EDIT, Things seem to have resolved themselves and I’ve been able to log into game again.
Same, says retreaving realm list and then when loads looks like i have no toons on any servers

I am glad I am not the online one this is happening too… but sad that it’s happening at all.
yeah, same thing here. Same issue I saw when all the servers were crashing when SL released.
Same. Black screen, no toon loading. Can’t even make a new one.
Likewise on Area 52. Some characters say not found, others get to 90% loading and then DC.
Same. “Character not found” after loading to 90%. On Thrall for me.
Same for me on Mal’Ganis. Unable to find characters, getting black screen, and not showing chars on any server.
Its wow side, 100%. Got soft dc’d in game just now while standing around in Sinfall.
Everyone started running in place. I was unable to log out. I then alt+f4’d, tried to log back in and all of my characters are gone.

Has something like this happened before? And if so, is the fix usually done quickly?
This is Blizzard’s problem that we are forced to deal with. Same just started happening to me on Whisperwind. Logged out to take 10 min break, went to play again, can’t get in…
Click play, game loads, after a few minutes, puts on select realm screen, select realm (usually don’t have to do this), finally loads character screen after a few more minutes, choose character, wait a few more minutes on load screen, then it puts me back to character select with an error that “character not found”. Happens no matter which character I choose.
Blizz…been happening since SL release…over a month now…c’mon
Usually fixed pretty fast yeah - if it’s a downed world server they just kick the hamsters 
My characters actually come up now, but trying to get in the game, I get the Character Not Found error…
