Character name is not available on that realm

Guild transfer- character name is not available on that realm.
Character name is “xiaole” now on Sargeras Allilance. Destination realm is Illidan Horde. System tells me character name is not available on that realm. I have submitted a ticket to report this issue. This is the 5th day. It is not sloved. Even worse no customer support relply to my ticket in the past 2 days. Why is EXTREMELY SLOW???

The Burning Crusade pre-patch launched this week, so I imagine ticket times are a little higher than normal.

I’m not too sure what you’re putting a ticket in for though. If the name is taken, you should have the option to pick a new name. Are you not getting prompted to choose a new name?

The character is still stuck in Sargeras and I am not able to login the character. The guild transfer service do not even start yet.

The armory is showing a character on Illidan with that name, as far as the ticket, do you happen to have a ticket number. I only as because others have submitted bug reports believing that was the same as a ticket, but those are not responded to.

There are a few issues here.

  1. You did not submit this under the account that it pertains to - which is why they couldn’t find an order for a guild transfer.

  2. You’ve only just not identified the character in question.

  3. This is the third ticket/reopening, the previous two were answered.

  4. The account in question does NOT in any way, shape or form match the name on the account you are submitting under - or posting with here. It is very doubtful we’ll be able to assist unless and until that can be sorted. It simply isn’t your account as it is presenting.

Lastly, I see you have tickets open on both the account you are posting under here - and that one - but no one should be accessing an account that is not in their name.

I know it was asked, but to verify as you have a different character selected in the screen shot. Can you click that character and log in? You should be prompted to change the name on when you log in.

I can login the the Mage but not Druid. Druid is the character that I want to do the transefer. As you can see it is still in Sargeras. @kozzae-doomhammer
I have put the Character name as required. After that no response. The account is belongs to my Guild Master. He also submited a ticket US79504145. @ Orlyia

You shouldn’t be accessing anyone else’s account, Sauchy - not for any reason.

I am not accessing his account. I am helping him to solve the issue. The problem here is not about accessing anyone’s account. The problem is Guild transfer is stuck because of the error and it is not solved for 5days.

And there is a ticket open - both on the account in question - and on yours.

The first one is my post, second one is his post. None of them get resolved.

For sure, you should close any open tickets on your account then, and wait for billing to resolve your friends tickets. I understand you want to help resolve this, but more tickets won’t help in this case.

To make a long story short, Blizzard won’t really help in cases of the 3rd party in matters of the person putting in a ticket and Blizzard.

so I am the one having the problem, I started Guild Transfer on Tuesday, and its stuck at the problem since then.
My ticket is not resolve, no one has really reply to me for the past 48hours about the issue.
I am not sure what to do right now

My ticket number is US79504145, and my friends been trying to help me on this is because my English is very bad, I can hardly explain all these situation well. And since I dont want any misunderstanding, so I ask them to help to post

Unfortunately ticket times have escalated due to the release of TBC classic, Orlyia did note you had a ticket open awaiting an answer. Hopefully this will be answered shortly.
