Character locked due to billing

I did a race change on this character, then decided I didn’t want it and had made a horrible choice. So I put in a ticket asking if I could have the 3 day cooldown on character services lifted so I could race change back, I was granted a refund instead, which is awesome.

Now I have an issue where I cannot log into my character. It says that this character is locked due to billing issues. I put in a ticket but it says th average wait time is 24 hours, so I was hoping someone might be able to know of something I can do to play this character before this 24 hour wait time for a ticket reponse.

I’ve tried creating a new character and logging in on it on the same server, tried logging in and out of other characters, neither seem to work.

You are gonna have to wait til the ticket is answered. I doubt it will be 24 hours though, Billing is usually on top of these things.

That happens during a refund but our Account Service folks usually are able to take care of it while it is being processed. It sounds like something may have happened where the lock wasn’t removed.

While your issue originated with a refund, I’d probably use the “purchase failure” ticket category and see if live chat is available, Murder. We want to make sure that you can actually play your character so those are a bit of a priority. :slight_smile:
