Character locked due to billing issue

I’ve had a ticket opened for the past week regarding issues with a Race change and for the most part that has been taken care of, the end result was that I had the money refunded back to my account. What I was told was, “It looks like that service did not start up on the back end for some reason”. So the money was refunded, however, it’s been over 24 hours since the refund was issued, I see the money back in my account but for whatever reason the character that this was originally purchase for is locked and has been locked since the refund was issued. I went ahead and added this note to the ticket but since ticket response times are ungodly long at the moment, Im just wanting to know will this character become unlocked and how long do I have to wait for that to happen? Any information would be greatly appreciated

You will have to wait on your ticket unfortunately.

The character is usually unlocked as part of the process. I know you already have a ticket open, but I’d recommend using a better category for your issue by opening a new ticket (leave your first ticket open). You’ll want to use “Purchase Failure”. Just put in the description that you had your order refunded but your character (provide the name/realm) is locked.

That should allow our staff to get to your request quickly.
