Character Faction Transfer Service Stuck in Processing

I purchased a 3-pack of faction changes this past Friday and used them on my Paladin, Shaman, and Priest. The change for my Shaman and Priest went through fine, but my Paladin is still stuck.

I’ve now been unable to play my main for 5 days and missing out on reset and raid with my friends, and it’s really frustrating. The token says the process should only take 24 hours, so I’m wondering if there’s a way to undo it? I’ve used this service numerous times in the past without any issues, so this is really unusual.

The only thing I can think of that might have caused this problem is that my character was a Guild Master. I stepped down from leadership by transferring it to an alt before starting the faction change. However, while the process was ongoing, I swapped the leadership back to my Paladin.

I opened a ticket for this 3 days ago (US101164616) and have not received even a initial response. Any help with this would be helpful because I’m unable to even play with my friends at this time.

A payment issue ticket might have gone faster, technically payment failure.

Not sure what the current wait time is, but my guess is you used a generic ticket path. Might be easier to wait, can’t imagine it would be much longer for your ticket to hit the end of the queue even for a generic.

Super weird, so I submitted an additional ticket under payment issue and it got merged with the original ticket. Also I know it’s not a payment issue because I purchased it with my blizzard balance. :thinking:

The system has checks when you start a character service. If you do something in the time it takes that to finish processing, it’s going to throw a wrench in the works.

As I said yesterday, the usual culprit is mail coming in that timeframe, but yup, this would do it as well.

They are going to have to cancel this. Refund your token and you’ll need to start it fresh.

You character service failed, likely due to stuck mail, still appropriate.

Thank you, if we can cancel the process so I can go ahead an get back to playing that would be awesome.

Looks like you are about 13th in that queue, you should be hearing from your ticket in the next few hours.
