Character collections page showing wrong counts

When I go to a character collection page it does not update correctly with my newest pets and mounts.

I have in the last week received several new pets and at least one mount that are not showing up here. I have logged my character in and out and still it is not updating correctly.

The armory tends to update on it’s own timetable, logging out of the site and re-logging back in sometimes help.

I logged in and out on the game client, battle.net client, and the website. Still not picking up any collection changes for the past several days.

Meanwhile my wife’s character collection is updating correctly and she is on a different battle.net account. She just added a pet a few minutes ago like I did and hers updated instantly.

Like I said, Armory updates according to it’s own whims. You can always let the WebDev team know here:

The armory is essentially in a constant state of “beta” and is not guaranteed to be accurate to what is in the game.

As long as it’s right in the game, that’s what counts.

Well, not exactly, I use warcraftpets to keep track of my collection of pets and which ones I still need to go after so I would prefer to have this working again. Since it was working correctly about a week ago or so.

Mine has been doing this since last week. Everything else on my profile updates, just not Collections.

I put in a ticket and the GM said the matter was referred to the folks who handle bugs.

(Edited: I had a friend make changes to their active pet team and the Armory reflected this, so it’s not a widespread issue. We may have to wait a while before they figure out the cause.)

Greetings all,

We recently released some changes to the collections page on the character profiles, to help us triage could you please do the following?

  • confirm that you are still experiencing the issue
  • confirm the realm name and character name of the affected characters (sometimes its difficult to tell which characters are being referenced)
  • provide a specific example of the pet/mount which is missing
  • super helpful: provide a picture showing your in-game count vs the count shown on the website (posted to imgur or another hosting site) so that we can most easily compare

If you lack the ability to directly post links (requires Trust Level 3), then highlight your URL and click the </> icon above where you are typing.

That will allow the whole URL to be posted (albeit without the ability to click it directly). It will look similar to this:

www.worldofwarcraft.com

Then anyone wanting to visit the link can merely copy/paste your link.

I am also still having issues.

Example of missing pets: Cross Gazer, Armored Vaultbot, Drudge Ghoul & many others. The correct levels that my pets currently are, are not updating either.

I am still having this issue after today’s maintenance.

In-game pet count:

Discrepencies:

Website is always two higher because the Guild Page and Guild Herald pets for both factions are shown as collected on the website but not in the game.

Present but wrong level (collected prior to or possibly shortly after 2/11/2020, leveled after 2/11/2020):

Rikki (website says level 1, s/b level 25)
Pygmy Camel (website says level 1, s/b level 25)

Missing (definitely collected after 2/11/2020):

Anomalus (s/b level 18)
Brilliant Glimmershell (s/b level 25)
Muar (s/b level 25)
Sandclaw Nestseeker (s/b level 25)
Void-scarred Pup (s/b level 25)
Void-scarred Rat (s/b level 15)

Website unique pet count should be 1186
