Made a thread about this in the macro section but in case any of you nerds know what I’m asking for,
Is there a way to disable that banner/text that pops up when you get crowd controlled?
Being feared and having the banner take up the center of my screen, hiding the enemy capacitor totem making it difficult for me to quickly select and kill has been annoying. I’d rather just have the CC spell icon with the spiral, I don’t need the whole “fear” with a horizontal bar as well.
What add-ons are you using ? If you haven’t figured it out yet. Try screen shot for further help.
The CC banner is default Blizzard UI so I’m not sure where you’re going with this. But I just use sArena, OmniBar, BigDebuffs.
Do you have a screen shot of what you’re talking about? This doesn’t sound familiar at all. Almost sounds like something from big debuffs.

Currently you can disable the whole thing in interface, but I’m just trying to see if there’s a way to delete the “Stunned 3.4s” thing.
Probably not what you are looking for but ElvUI let’s you move the CC popup around with their “toggle anchors” button. I get really annoyed with it being right in the center of the screen blocking my view.
pretty sure you can hide it with ‘move anything’ the addon
for a long time there was a setting that let you disable it in the default settings windo but blizzard prob pruned it in bfa
