I never said anything even remotely similar to what you’re insinuating bud.
Get a grip.

Good choice. Lowering the barrier to entry for TBC Classic ensures that the most amount of people possible get to play the game and have a “through the Dark Portal” experience together.
gonna just ignore the call out, i see.
if you want to experience the world of Azeroth it will still be there
in fact, Classic servers will still be there if you really want the old world to be relevant. you don’t lose out on anything whatsoever with the existence of a single boost per account
No, it’s one per account.
And it honestly will end up being one per acount per server or something.
Your right, sorry, I did look at Ad Hominem and I was wrong.
That being said, the rest of my post was pretty spot on IMO.
If you want to experience the world of Outlands it will still be there. It’s not going anywhere.
but that’s what your insinuating isn’t it?
Your insinuation is that the EXPERIENCE of leveling in WOW is being UNDERMINED by boosts. So my question to you is do you also ride horses to work and write with an ink quill? I would hate to see you undermining these very consequential experiences in human evolution by bypassing them and using computers and cars?
Don’t bother responding to him. He has nothing important to say. I’ve already ignored him, but he keeps responding to my posts as if what he says has any meaning. I won’t bother to look at his ignored content because it really doesn’t matter what he’s saying because it all amounts to “REEEEEEE! PEOPLE HAVING STUFF DEVALUES MY TIME INVESTMENT! REEEEE!”
yeah? I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make
That’s per-account, and so a big concern (one of the only I agree with) is bots exploiting it.
i agree with private server players so i must be a private server player. makes sense. i have multiple level 60’s that i leveled before i realized shadowlands was more of the same. i could post on them if i wanted but id prefer my actual character i play with. why tf would i post on a retail character when im talking about classic lmao. cant argue with this 5head.
This, THIS is exactly it.
By letting people boost it DEVALUES the time they spent on leveling their characters and to them it is not “fair”.
This has nothing to do with experience, or undermining anything other than people’s egos. It’s the same way in EQ progression servers…thankfully the VAST majority of THAT crowd has come to understand how valuable boosts/buying characters is to the game and this kind of argument is very rarely seen over there.
But here, it will be alive and well for many years to come.
trolls, trolls everywhere lmao
Jewelcrafting, as well as dozens of quests in Azeroth not added until TBC.
Is power at endgame the only thing we care about now? Look, I don’t care if you want a boost. I really don’t have a horse in this race. But that mentality? That leveling doesn’t matter and SHOULD be skipped in preference to the end game is exactly the mentality that most are trying to get away from in Classic. This is an MMO. Leveling is just as part of the game at lvl 20 as it is at lvl 58. If it weren’t, then Blizz would have set the boost to 70 instead of 58.
Is that any difference than the bots powerleveling themselves now? What is the difference?
i was talking to the warrior, and he’s straight out ignoring it. there’s a reason for that. he’s a private server player. and it’s very obvious. has probably never downloaded retail at any point in the games existence. he also says insane things constantly. that’s why he’s being called out.
Most players only have one account, so that’s why I phrased it the way I did.
Bots don’t concern me. They aren’t as widespread as people claim and they don’t “destroy the economy” either. That’s normal players who have had plenty of time to plan out how and what they are going to farm and gouge other players who are crazy enough to pay their ridiculous prices.
I’ve never had trouble with any sort of crafting, ever, and bots farming mobs has never been a problem for me.
Your examples aren’t really a good comparison.
Boosts not undermining Azeroth is like teleporting to where you need to be not undermining the automobile industry.
