i have leveled my own character. i could post names and servers of 20+ characters that went through vanilla and tbc questing. i have exactly ONE character at all that didn’t do it. cuz he’s a maghar dk that i made after the chromie time changes.
Eh… Classic Era will effectively be a separate game from TBC Classic just like how classic now is separate from retail.
And just like how some things that are appropriate for retail aren’t appropriate for classic some things like boosts that are appropriate for TBC Classic won’t be appropriate for classic era.
Someone unwilling to grind out levels are in for a shock when they learn how much rep grinding there is in TBC.
except a lot of us DO know. because we’ve done it over and over and over and over again. and none of us want a 70 boost. we just want to have one character to go directly into outland. that doesn’t mean that we don’t want rep grinds. and if you wanna get into trying to say retail players don’t do rep grinds just google pathfinder and realize we do it for things yall just got with gold in tbc.
The people who are RMTing aren’t going to stop.
Boosts don’t solve anything, and only add more problems.
No, it doesn’t.
What problems? How does a boosted character, that has no gear, no money, etc, hurt you?
I don’t think you have explained that yet, How does a boosted character impact you in any meaninful way other than your ego?
If I told you right now I bought my lvl 60 character, how does that affect YOUR gameplay except I might be a guy in your guild helping you down raid content?
“Part of the same project” doesn’t make Vanilla Classic and TBC Classic “not separate”.
They are very much separate entities, and likely if Wrath Classic ever comes, it will be a further separate entity.
TBC already nerfs experience required by ~30% That 2-3week investment just got shortened to .6 - 2 weeks. Not to mention jewlcrafting being a thing so you will have better gear through the leveling experience and summoning stones to help you move across the map. It is likely these changes will come in the prepatch along with the new races so new players will have ample time to reach 60 if that is the case.
I just as much as I think people are blowing the negative effects of boosting out of proportion, the “long slog of leveling” is equally blown out of proportion.
then dont come, the game is obviously not for those people. they’ll quit because the attunement system is too hard. then blizz will just cancel all the attunements.
it doesn’t at all. it’s just another thing to try to gatekeep people who didn’t no life private servers and played retail instead. the hate for boosts is retail related and they’ve said as much.
Like I said, it would feel a lot better if it was restricted to new and returning players.
It doesn’t matter how I respond to this or what evidence I present to you. You will snuff it off anyway and pretend that it doesn’t matter. Not going to waste my time on you. I’ve presented the argument various times and it’s always met with the same attitude.
Has literally nothing to do with ego. Stop being so toxic and learn to communicate like a normal human being.
Why do you have such a huge obsession with private servers? It’s like you can’t go 1 comment without mentioning them. Projecting much?
No I wont. That druid came up with a REASONABLE reason and I give him all props…
You just have no reasons…
if they want to make it so its only for people who haven’t gotten to outlands level (as in having a 58+ on their classic account at this moment) i doubt most people would care. for most classic mains it would just be a profession alt they would have access to more cds with. the only people who wouldn’t be using it for that are people who didn’t play classic at all or who got sick of what was happening in classic and noped out before reaching max level. which are both demographics that are untapped for blizzard at the moment.
But that is what it comes down to. That is what is at the heart of it undermines the game or it’s not the right way to play.
It’s just a pure ego trip that everyone should have to do the same thing you did. While discounting that a level 58 in TBC with junk gear a slow mount and no resources doesn’t actually objectively hurt you at all.
THIS this THIS
No, it’s not. And no, it doesn’t. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Just stop, it’s quite sad to continue echoing such absurdity. You have no grounds to make such a claim.
