Hello all! First of all, let me say that I completely understand why Blizz is not allowing Character Boosts to be used on the Fresh Start Realms right now. It sort of defeats the purpose. However, I am just now getting back into Classic after not playing in TBC. I bought the “Heroic Upgrade” for WotLK and it came with the boost, just to later find out that my old buddies chose to play on Skyfury where I can’t use the boost and can’t create a DK until I have a lvl 55. I will probably just do as the server is intended and “start fresh” but I was wondering if Blizz has announced when boosts will be usable on Skyfury? I am a very casual player and I highly doubt I’ll get to lvl 55 before launch, much less 70.
At least 90 days. Probably more though but that is the tentative minimum

I feel this one. I have a 70 Horde chara because a few friends play on another server. One friend plays on Skyfury, so I started leveling an alliance there and I’m just -dragging-. I’d gladly pay the money for a boost at this point.
I was wondering if there has been anything said about this since then, or in other words, an update on when we will be able to boost over here. I came from Angerforge after leveling 2 toons to 65 and 66. Its pretty much dead over there now. So I am on Skyfury now since its open again, and I just got another toon up to 60. I really want to use my boost over here for my alt.

I have no idea why they opened up two new pvp realms at once when skyfury has a good population and is not overpopulated.
We don’t need boosts on Skyfury. Level or find a different server.

Ppl will be finding a new server shortly lol… Skyfury is dying super fast.
While most servers have been gaining players the last few weeks, SF is hemorraging.
SF is made of mostly fresh fiends. Server isnt fresh anymore, more p servers are launching, rumors of SoM2 launching soon as well. Server is doomed.
It seems fine to me. But I actually play on it and I’m not a retail sock puppet.

You arent in the GM channels bud… there is major concern over population decline and talks about mass merging guilds.
Keep living in oblivion… but a new fresh pserver launches friday thats going to gut Skyfury and SoM2 is rumored in a couple weeks.
its going to be a bloodbath limping to the finish for ulduar.
We have 75 raiders and a bench on Skyfury. A lot of guilds are similar. Think we’re gonna be fine but be a doomer if ya want and join the AF “why can’t I transfer” crowd if ya want

Nobody had any problems opening the floodgates on Angerforge, just 3 freaking days after it launched, though, and letting all of Skyfury’s L70s overrun the place, killing the economy and open PvP dead.
Enable boosts on all the new servers. They’re all dying slow deaths pop-wise because no free DKs or L70 boosts are allowed there. See the forest for the trees.
Skyfury is well above what a full capacity realm in original wrath would have been. It’s extremely alive and vibrant, go back to retail with your delusions about server pop lmfao.
Those would kill skyfury. People played a fresh server precisely because they didn’t want that garbage.
Angerforge should have just been merged back with skyfury once the population of skyfury calmed down a bit, and this should have been stated as a possibility from the beginning. But typical blizzard incompetence endures.
Part of me wants to be able to do 70-boosts and transfer my other toons TO Skyfury…
…but to be honest… keeping it as a “Fresh Server” and forcing people to level alts from Level 1 seems like the better option.
It’s kind of cool seeing players in all level ranges and working your way up from Level 1. There’s an atmosphere on Skyfury unlike any other server. It’s amazing!

Its a sad state that some of our players are in. Trolling runs rampant and everyone is so opinionated they don’t care about anyone but themselves. I get flamed and trolled just for asking a question on these forums. Its nothing new, but it is really quite sad. Blizzard has the option to announce boosts on this server. When I purchased my boost, I had in the back of my mind, from what was said, that there would be boosts here eventually. Quit hating, its not that big a deal if a few people get some lvl 70s, its not going to take away from your gameplay or whatever your reasoning is.
