Character boost gone wrong

Hello, this afternoon I boosted the wrong character by mistake. I had tried so many time over the last 24 hours to boost a character but it wasn’t working. In my haste to check if it was working or not i boosted a Rogue instead of a paladin. I realize that it’s policy not to reverse this process, but it was an honest mistake and I spent a lot of money on this service.

Please, if there is a human that reads this can you help me out. I have zero desire to play a rogue, which means i just spent all that money for a character I will not be playing.

I have tried so many different ways to start a ticket for this issue, but since everything is sorted by AI, it just sends me to the standard reply that boosts cannot be reversed. There is no option to open a ticket.

Purchase failure is the right category nothings automated everything handled by real people.

It most definitely is Automated when trying to find the right category to ask for help in.

Is there any way to open a ticket so i can actually speak to someone?

U cant speak to anyone either a gm is or isnt able to undo a boost rare cases they can but its rare if there telling u no then your outa luck.

Gonna be honost here. Generally what we see is the boost refunded and the char you applied it to locked until a new boost is applied to it. Then you can buy a new boost with your refund and apply it to the char you wish.

There isn’t anyone to talk to; Boosts are final and isn’t going to be removed because there are ‘are you sure?’ windows you have to click through to double and triple check. They don’t take “I was in a rush” as a reason.

yeah, unfortunately, i had clicked those double and triple checks so many times throughout the day, that i kinda became numb to them. my fault i guess.

It’s not automated or AI in any way, it’s the same annoying decision tree software they have used for years. Your only option is to go thru the contact us, there is no phone support.

Open a ticket under purchase failure, but whatever you do, do not log into the character until a determination is made.

The reason you are going around in circles is that you are asking for something that cannot be done, so the system has nowhere to send you. In simple terms, it can’t give you directions to a destination that just doesn’t exist.

No, there isn’t, because what you want, to have a character boost reversed, simply isn’t possible. Reversing a boost involves de-leveling the character, and that just isn’t possible. You can refund the boost, but because the character cannot be de-leveled, it is simply locked until a new boost is applied to it.
