Character boost bug

used a character boost on my lvl 28 character and now all the get does is ask me to create another character any help please?

Just to be clear, you had a boost option on the character select screen (like the one in the yellow box, top-right), used it on a L28 character, and that character is still L28?

Did you buy a Classic Boost to use on a Retail character or vice-versa (bought a Retail Boost which is not compatible with Classic)?

Just trying to understand exactly what you’re seeing with the character you “used the boost on” (like is the boost target invalid and the boost is still available on your char select screen).

There is currently a reported bug with character boosting. There are a few people reporting the same issue in the “Bug Report” forum support section.

Hello, yesterday I bought the War Within expansion and a subscribtion(in that order). After I bought the subscribtion, i used the level boost on my level 8 Demon Hunter, (Shazzma on the Illidan realm). After that, I got booted to the character creation screen. I received lvl70 booster when I purchased wow recently and used it tried to use it on my lvl 28 character but now it just asked me repeatedly to create a character or when I click on the lvl 28 it prompted me to finish the lvl 70 process

Im having the same issue, it just takes me to make a new character.

those things are pretty expensive for what it is. it should work flawlessly lol
