Character boost bug

Hello, yesterday I bought the War Within expansion and a subscribtion(in that order). After I bought the subscribtion, i used the level boost on my level 8 Demon Hunter, (Shazzma on the Illidan realm). After that, I got booted to the character creation screen. I can back out(usually only after a couple attempts, in the first few i get retrieving character list and then get kicked back to the character creation screen), this cycle repeats every time i log in.
On the character select screen, i see my characters and i can log in to my rogue, but when i try to log in to my demon hunter, i get the following message: “You cannot log in until the character boost process you recently initiated is complete”. This has been going on for around 12 hours.

Yeah I am having the same issue when I tried to boost my Paladin. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Yes, I currently have the same problem going on. It is also telling me that I can’t log into the character until the boost completes, and when I log in it is giving me the Character creation screen as well. At least I know its not me now. I was thinking perhaps I did something wrong when I boosted it. I do see that the character says it is processing it. Looks like it may take some time.

i am also having this issue. not really a great start to me wanting to come see how War within is looking.

I am also having this issue, although only with my level 70 boost(on this character). the level 60 boost I used(on another character) the other day went through just fine.

My wife also is having this issue since last night. She purchased a level 70 boost and applied it to a new toon that she played until level 21. The boost hasn’t upgraded her toon yet, and the same popup message is displayed when she tries to log into that toon. When she open WoW, and when its suppose to take her to the character selection screen, it is automatically taking her to the create a new character screen…and when she tries to back out and go back to the character selection screen, it takes her back into the create a new character process. Eventually after doing this a few times, it finally let’s her select another toon to login and play.

She created a new support ticket in-game on another toon, and seemingly the support staff is unaware of this bug/issue, as they stated to wait 24 hours…because that is the typical time it takes for a level boost to be active…and if it’s not been boosted within 24 hours, reopen a ticket. Baloney, there are others who have this same issue.

I also tried to apply a level 60 character boost to a Demon Hunter, and now I can’t log in to the character. This started on June 3, and I submitted an in-game ticket on June 4. The in-game GM told me to wait at least 24 hours and then submit a bug report about it.

I’m having the exact same issue, down to the letter. I’m hoping Blizzard fixes this soon.

I also bought the War Within expansion and a subscribtion. And I leveled my character till lvl 11 and used the character boost, but never got boosted and now I can’t enter the world anymore, but are getting returned to creating a new character.

Bought a 2 pack of boosts, and both are still processing 36 hours after applying them.

Same bug as yall. Hopefully a fix soon…

Same issue here. I was trying to boost my level 2 Mage. It’s been over 48 hours, every time I log in to the game, it directs me to the character creation screen, and I need to click Back several times.

Same issue on my demon hunter odwelm its been over 24 hours

I’ve been having the same issue with a boost I bought yesterday on a druid I was planning on playing. Still in the perpetual “still processing” situation. Hoping this is fixed so I can play him T_T

I feel like a GM lied to you. I’ve played since vanilla, and it’s been within minutes from the time we got access to boosts.

This week’s updates have broken a lot of things. I feel like this is just one more casualty. GL to your wife, I hope she can play soon.
