Hello there! I’ve been listening to opinions from friends who play a myriad of races and classes on both factions, and I thought I’d compile a list of additions to character customization that many of us would still like to have. This will be including all races, not just individuals!
There are going to be more posts than this first one, please bear with me.
Feel free to post your own ideas as well below.
ALL RACES:
-HAIR JEWELRY/TIES/BANDS IN DIFFERENT COLOURS.
-Jewelry for male characters, not only females.
-Jewelry should come in both cool or warm tones, so not just gold, but also silver. More options welcomed!
-Body Types are highly requested! Thin & Buff options for both male and female are most popularly asked for.
-Hairstyles and Colours shared across base x allied races. For example: Blood Elves and Void Elves share the same model, and hairstyles could and should be shared (with any needed alterations ie: tentacles) Same with Dwarves & Dark Iron, Orcs and Mag’har, etc.
-Blind Eye options for all races. Including Left Blind, Right Blind, Both Blind.
-Scars HIGHLY requested for many races, will include under individuals as well.
-More faces with VARIANCE in shapes for ALL. Humans a good start.
-Heterochromia
-Curly hairstyles for all races, especially those with more “human” skin tones. Hair curl patterns in 3A/B/C and 4A/B/C, tighter coils.
-More makeup, separated from faces
-Glasses 
-Hair under hat options, perhaps a box to tick?
-Beards for all! Five’o’clock shadows.
All Anthro/Animal races: Dark/completely black furs, Albinism including red/pink eyes
Undead:
-POC features and hairstyles, including faces and more skins.
-Faces for Undead have lost a lot of their individual characterizations with the model update. Examples: Skull Face for Females missing, Sad Stitches face completely changed, etc. Having them added back as updated options would do wonders. Female UD Deserve to be as “gross” or “frightening” as males.
-The Drooler face with a dangling tongue on males should be an option for Female Undead.
-Upright Posture
-Beards/moustaches for Undead, Eyebrow options
-Piercings of many types, especially “punk”, “grunge”, or “goth” styles.
-Corpse Paint
-We’ve got more skin, and now we’ve love even less! More options for varying decay/skeletonization, stitched skin options
-Female UD facial shape changed drastically with their updates and almost feel squished now. Maybe a shape option?
Night Elf:
-More “Noble” hairstyles and jewelry to suit Highborne style characters. Night Elves are very old and not all are Druidic.
-“Dark Ranger” customizations. Not all raised would betray their people.
-Antlers
Trolls:
-Beards VERY highly requested.
-Females should have options for large tusks and ears similar to males.
Zandalari:
-Same as above
-less “Scale Skin”, options for Gold-tatooed or covered skin like Priestess Alun’za in Atal’Dazar.
-More appropriate Shaman “Ghost Wolf” glyph forms for Raptor form, such as Gonk or Jani style, also added to barber shop like Druids!
-Gold Eyes
-Gold Tusk variances
Worgen:
-Tails!
-Varying levels of fur density
-Snout shapes
-Tattoos? Fur paint?
-Mustaches & beards carried from Human form into fur shape
Goblins:
-Campy Goblin tattoos. Biker/greaser tats?
-Oil burns/scars
-“mechanic hands” that look dirty/like they’ve been working (mechanic like people who work on cars or machinery, not mechanical)
-Gilblin options if not an allied race!
-Gold Teeth
-Moustaches
-BlING, baby! Jewelry, not just piercings (silver AND gold - makes sense for Gobs to have gold!!)
-Better hair for men especially that aren’t balding styles
-Longer hair male and female
Draenei:
-“Goat” eyes (Example: Argi style)
-Hair jewelry colours not that gaudy purple and green
Lightforged:
-Shared hair and skin colours from Draenei
-Tattoo and rune intensities
Orc:
-Bigger Tusks/double tusks (Example: Thrall)
-Eyebrow options! Very requested
-Mag’har Hairstyles
-Necklaces, maybe clan based styles?
-Longer hair for males
-Blackrock Green Skin
-Fel Orc skins (nonspikey/corrupted)
-Dragonmaw options
Mag’har:
-Same as above, plus clan tattoos and warpaints not tied to body colours.
-Regular Orc Hairstyles
-Shattered Hand options, including… well, a shattered hand.
Blood Elf:
-Runic tattoos as seen on Burning Crusade box.
-Farstrider tattoos, Rommath style tattoos
-Feedback tied to customization OFTEN heard: Not every BE has to be “pretty” or “pristine” Scars would be nice!
-VE Hairstyles, edited for tentacles
-DARK RANGER options including skin and eye colours. EXTREMELY highly requested!
-More Beards, fuller beards.
-Damaged Ears (Example: New NE ears)
-Eyebrow types for male and female
-The female eyeliner face where she looked quite annoyed looks VERY different now because they gave her the big o_o eyes. Bring back the sleek/mean eyed face.
Void Elf:
-BE Hairstyles AND colours, including above-mentioned eyebrow types!
-Alleria style tattoos
-BE ear lengths
-Jewelry, more HE and Void styled than the BE jewelry
Nightborne:
-Please lawd just fix em
-More faces for Male and Female needed
-More of the NPC hairstyles
-More hairstyles in general
-Tattoo intensities, from barely-there to absolutely glimmering
-Black and White hair (Streaks)
-More skin and hair colours of varying shades!
-Jewelry/piercings
Human:
-Tattoos, maybe some based on heritage like Vrykul styles or other kingdoms
-Longer hair for male and female
-Longer/fuller beards
-More natural brown hair
Kul’tiran:
-Same as above, and body shapes.
-Sailor Tatoos
-A PEG LEG
Gnomes:
-More Skin Colours
-Leper Gnomes
-Radiation burns/scars
-Mechagnome Hairstyles
-POC facial and hair options
Mechagnomes:
-Also more skin colours
-Options for less mechanization (example, one leg instead of both)
-Gnome Hairstyles and colours!
Dwarves:
-More Beards and moustaches, separated from each other!
-More hairstyles and colours befitting POC
-Jewelry colours
Tauren:
-More serious options
-Better face meshes, not always smiling, especially female
-Tail lengths
-Base skin and fur colours so noses/palms can be different from fur
Pandaren:
-Tails for all, including males
-More fur patterns, including all-black
-Fun hair colour options for males too, just as with the females
-long/wise Panda beards
