This gem singlehandedly ruins progression for crit spell casters. It’s not supposed to be out for over a year and changes Best In Slot progression from Spellstrike Hood to Tier 4, making a large portion of Tailored investment null and void.

I was holding out hope that Blizzard would realize this mistake and fix it with the maintenance today, but it doesn’t appear so.

Blizzard, remove the craft from peoples books, remove the design from dropping and remove the gems from circulation. It is BAD for the game.

So you didn’t report it during Beta or the last week? Why would you just hope they fix something that is possibly an oversight or possibly intended without reporting it?

I mean I understand the frustration but you can still get the 375 gear sets (frozen shadow weave etc etc).

So…don’t craft or buy spellstrike hood, then? Nobodies fault but yours for jumping the gun.

I didn’t go tailoring so I don’t care. I suspected the gain of tailoring wouldn’t be worth it and I was right. heh

Yeah I’m curious… is the 3% crit damage melee gem in the game because I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to be.

Also blizzard didn’t include the blue PvP sets on the rep vendors so I was assuming they were doing progressive iterations when it came to gear

Also I’m pretty sure this effects every damage dealing class

Lol do you have any idea how many bugs were reported in beta but haven’t been fixed? They are working on some (the green items with stats not working, the SMV quest fixed today, etc) but lots of bugs in Kara remain, some gems aren’t giving stats, etc.
Various items and recipes dropped for parts of beta and were removed, and vice versa. The agi + 3% crit damage was on the vendor at first and blizzard removed it for launch so most people assumed the CSD recipe wouldn’t be dropping yet either.

Yes. Absolutely yes. By MANY people.

The gem isn’t supposed to be out until Sunwell.

It is, available with exalted Consortium rep, and some people already pounded it out. No way they remove it now after people invested that much opportunity cost.

Considering Blizz hotfixed in the agi+damage meta gem now, it’s safe to say the CSD is staying.

Yup. I saw the hotfix this morning about the other meta gems, so chances are they figured why the hell not and added them in.

Oh no my boomkin doesn’t need to be a tailor/pay for that crap.

It’s funny because I was arguing with some others in another thread that with CSD and some gear swaps I’m not much worse off than wearing full tailoring. They assured me that tailoring was still SO much better lol. What is it guys?

spell strike helm not being WAY better than the others doesn’t change how good the rest of the tailoring gear is. there are 3 crafted BoP pieces, if the helm is overtaken because a of a meta gem those 3 pieces and spellstrike pants are still BiS.

You don’t NEED to do anything though, and its really expensive so its w/e

personally would rather have my bis come from raid lol, then i can just make gold off my crafts
