Holy Paladin is overperforming in all content in Fractures of Time. We are targeting a global decrease of healing and damage as we are not looking to change preferred playstyles, but Tyr’s Deliverance will also be receiving additional adjustments as this talent in particular has been more effective than we would like.
Holy Paladins’ mana pools have been more plentiful than we would like in PvP. We’re targeting their base Mana regeneration to encourage player engagement with the variety of mana talents available.
Paladin
Holy
All healing decreased by 8%.
All damage decreased by 12%.
Tyr’s Deliverance healing decreased by 15%.
PvP
Holy Paladins now regenerate 60% less Mana in PvP combat (was 25%).
We intend to make the above changes with scheduled weekly maintenance, on Tuesday, July 18 in this region.
No not at all, still going to be S++ teir. 8% of god like healing is not much. Also, hopefully these changes forces them to cast more and not just instant everything while being full mana all game.
It’s not even their healing, they just have the best utility and CDs as a healer. Even when their healing was trash before this patch, remember, a HPal came in 3rd in AWC. That’s basically only because of their utility (which only got better)
Well, I’m used to their toolkit being as strong as it is because they were never really a hps healer. They were kinda on a timer. But now they have insane hps and with insane damage stop toolkit and mana. It’s too much.
I think it’s relative to the person playing it. Obviously my performance increased on Hpal after Tuesday–however I don’t think I played the class 100% efficiently or to the full extent of it’s potential, so it just felt pretty good to me, and not like I could AFK across the map and pick my nose like people dramatically made out.
So no, I don’t think 90% of the complainers really felt the full power of the sun as much as they were just used to rolling Hpals for 2 seasons and got mad they couldn’t statistically count on free wins anymore.
