Changes to Purchasable Game Time Options

yes, yes it is.

I bet the value of a WoW token will plummet lmao.

This should go over well.

or you can buy a token, then use the token to get 30 days of time right?
You know you dont HAVE to convert the token in BNET balance to then buy time, you can just use the token to add time to your account.

you still can, just need to press the unsub button after subbing.

With the kind of bizarre changes the Blizzard team promotes it’s clear to me that this company is no longer worth my time or my resources. It’s sad really… I’ve been enjoying classic. After my sub is out though, I’m out.

You guys are really awful and I stand by my claim that you cannot be trusted as good digital stewards for the world of Azeroth. It’s a shame.

The idea that someone would defend something which is clearly intended to be anti-consumer is actually just insane. What world do some of these people even live in. I shouldn’t even say “people”, its like one person desperately copy-pasting replies to everyone in the thread.

if you have a short term memeory so bad you cant press unsub after buyying your 1 month then that is your problem.

What about people who purchase 30 days at a time with real money?

Your solution is “Yo bro lol just buy 60 days” or change it into a sub and cancel it.

Yes, but the 180-day option let us purchase game time at the 6-month rate of $12.99 a month.

Not to mention that it’s also tax-free. The sub isn’t.

you can still spend 15$ real life to buy a sub, nothing has changed on that front ,you are not forced to by a 2 month sub, you can still just go to the store and buy a month, you just now need to make sure you cancel it.

So more steps for the sake of metrics for investors, that could cause people to overdraft gain bank fees and ruin them for a month?

This isnt the hill you want to die on. Its a bad change that hurts the community.

Again I understand if 90/180 day just didnt see purchases, but removing the 30 day option is bad.

Can you still do that after the change? I’m under the impression you can’t convert a token 1:1 to game time and need 2 now, is that not true?

And why should we let go of this option of buying game time?

Give a good reason or pay our subs instead of just blindly defending this move.

You still can… its literally how you do it, you can still buy 30/90/180 days with real money my dude.
it is still on the store at 30/90/180, it was only GAME TIME that was changed.

Horrible change. I buy 6 months reoccurring and I am not even playing the game right now. Because it’s boring AF. But if you are cancelling my chance to just pay for 1 month for my niece or nephew when they visit to play with me for that month, I am done. I won’t continue to pay for a game that I don’t play anyway right now to have your company screw over people who cannot afford to pay 2 months at a time-I have been there and could be there again and I whole-heartedly disagree with this change. Bad form, Blizz, BAD FORM.

Not at all
TBC classic launches
New returning players pay $30 up front plus $40-$60 for 58boost
And just like that Blizz makes $70-$90 per account just like its 2006 except a 15 year old game isnt worth that
People are realizing that SL has less content than a good patch and Blizz is trying to milk the absolute last bit of profit they can from content, the likes of which, they lack the talent/money/will to reproduce.
