Changes to Purchasable Game Time Options

Besides making this change, you still increase the price in Brazil and other countries. You raised the price in Brazil 6 months ago why did you increase it again? Are you kidding me? The Brazilian community is already decaying what do you think is going to happen now? More people will stop playing and won’t even come back, do you think a new player will pay R $ 84 to play? Nobody will pay 84 reais to play blzz.

Perfect. I love it.

Why are you lumping Minorities with “Poor”? IK you didn’t exactly say that, but I don’t like how you phrased that. Seems pretty racist to assume Minorities are “Poor” or even lumping it together with the word “Poor”.

After years of playing this game, I just unsubbed and am not going to play.
Everything about the company and their policy is just wrong and people are just putting up with them cause they have no other option.
Maybe no option is a better option in this care!

Cancelled. CRAP expansion still no balance after how many years? No blue representation ANYWHERE.

You know, I could understand this if there was any benefit to the player for it. But there’s no benefit at all for the player. This is taking twice the money at half the rate, and if offers no savings at all to the players. It’s still $15/mo.

Furthermore, I don’t think you understand how many people who depend on Social Security, SSI, or SSDI who play your game. We budgeted for a $15/mo subscription fee, and some of us don’t have the spare change to budget for $30 every other month, because it eats into other expenses we have, whether it be utilities, rent/mortgage, medical, or other necessities for one month. I might be able to shuffle things around to make it possible, but there are many others who simply cannot.

TL;DR: I don’t think you’ve thought your cunning plan the whole way through. This will result in a loss of even more subs. But hey, who cares right, so long as the CEO is getting hefty bonuses.

Many people choose not to use credit cards as banks can be really dodgy with credit cards, with interest charges and so on.

It’s still a scummy thing to do.

Garbage nonsense. Give me back the 30 day option.

You need to revert this big time. Why do you make bad PR for yourselves on purpose by doing things that are wrong and bad.

What about the region prices on some countries where 15 USD are just a lot? When will you implement local currency in countries like Colombia?

15yrs been paying never use the game time because more money than 15m recurring much much cheaper if do the math lol. 15.00 to 30.00 minus it 15 recurring cheaper that way then game time.

Why was there no warning for this change? I get that Blizz is solely focused on profits over players these days, but it could have forced a lot of 180 day buys before the change.

Exactly this.

I’m on my country’s version of unemployment so I have a fixed income and it means my budget is very tight. Buying WoW game time in 30 day increments may not be the cheapest way of getting game time, but it was the method that was easiest on my budget.

I really hate this change. It removes flexibility for the player all for the sake of a few extra sub numbers and making the figures look good for the shareholders/corporate bosses.

The game was getting hard to even want to play as it is. This could have sealed its fate for me. Good way to run newer players off blizz.

I fully agree And I don’t see how this benefits anyone. It is as i said destroying the player base

Poor and minorities as in two separate categories of people.

I am not assuming minority=poor, although someone can be both.

These days it’s the other way around, the minority of people are the rich people.

Been here since GM’s were spawning crazy stuff on last days of BETA.

I’ve watched the company turn from one of passion for gaming and fun, to a pure corporate greed machine that cares for nothing but money. Yet there are two ways it can go, one where they earn more money by making a better product, or two and the path they’ve clearly gone, where it’s take take take as much as you can, while propping up a dead hollowed out shell of a game that you would delete and never think about again if it wasn’t making money.

This decision and post is so disgusting and unscrupulous I won’t even go into what everyone else has already pointed out.

200m bonus for one man, while 100’s are fired, the talented flee, and you end up with janitors trying their best to keep the shell shiny on the outside, knowing they can’t magically create a new heart on the inside.

The death of wow will be announced by everyone of us at some point, one day will be the last day you log in and play, or the last time you firmly decide you’re cancelling sub.

Today’s mine.

barrens chat… you were … memorable.

I sincerely wish the best for everyone who reads this. I really do.

Just curious Activision, err I mean blizzard, but are you just trying to insult the intelligence of Warcrafts core base, or are you trying to outright kill the game so you can cannibalize and destroy another company’s carefully crafted franchise?

Annoys me because i play casual and walk away for a few weeks at end of 30 days when i need a break and dont lose game time. This forces us to buy 2 months or subscribe which forces you to play more or add a credit card. So whats gonna happen is more people will subscribe for 30 days then cancel it and carry on. Only good thing is i can leave an exit comment every month telling them how stupid this move was
