So let me get this straight? You are forcing an unwanted change for what? This will end badly for you billz.
All this is doing is Destroying your player base. I don’t want to sub every month to wow.
I like to take breaks and money is not a very stable thing at this moment in time for many.
I guess Destroying your game is more important to you billz. I feel bad for the devs who try to make the game better as you hold them back.

Well, the cost of taxes, and everything going up, for you looking at paying two months at a time might not seem like a lot, I mean you pay your CEO how much? we are just the cattle that play your game right? Well it was one of the pushes from you I needed to convince my wife to join me in playing FFXIV. We pay month to month because for us thats the best option, or we farm for wow tokens. Now with content in the drain and all your curtailing of ways to make gold theres just no content that interests us. However for a Canadian, I pay 28 bucks a month for the game, needing to pay 60 now is a no brainer, your game just isn’t worth the cost of a brand new game every two months. You guys are pulling back and undoing so many quality of life adjustments, restricting more and more gameplay, I am just not interested. You do you blizz.

I don’t see why knowing how many times you get hacked, the populous is going to be ok with giving you their credit cards in the first place for a sub. I mean heck even sometimes as is, I don’t constantly play your game because I am tired of pulling my hair out at the mounts in game that are bugged so I can’t get them while other people can get it no problem and you guys have sat there thus far, doing nothing to fix this. Not to mention the whole when your game likes to bug out in the new areas and someone gets killed because the enemies run toward the character from not being pulled, and then run back and disappear into nothingness and come back and just keep doing that. Not every class has the ability to heal themselves outside of the means of combat. Your little stunt of yeah let’s use the middle of a pandemic, to force people to pay more for game time and reduce their option of payment. You guys are actually in violation on so many levels right now I don’t care if I get hate for this post. The truth hurts and it’s about time someone hurts your pocket blizzard and not ours. If we didn’t pay your game would suffer because it’s all of us paying that even helps, keeps this more than 90% busted game of yours going. How many fans over the years have you lost due to piss poor choices? How many more are you going to be willing to lose because of these piss poor choices and, how much worse are these piss poor choices going to get? They haven’t really seemed to have gotten any better over the years. I mean look at Shadowlands, started off good and then became a repeat of every other expansion for a good majority of things. Why should we risk our credit cards being stolen through your data base? Why should we bend our knees to you, When you can’t do anything decent for us? Us the fans who are loyal to you and have been for years just don’t seem to matter. What seems to matter is partnerships you have poorly chosen for the sake of saving a dying company because in the end when it all came down to it, it was always about the money screw the fan base and who they are or what they like of your game choices. Your shallow comments about don’t you have a cellphone?! That was a classic to show you how little you care because not everyone in this world is fortunate enough to have a cellphone let alone, a smart one and I for one, think it’s time people stand together and remind you companies that think you’re so big, how small you really are without us pitching forth for you to become so big. Remember without us, you’re nothing!

I have been playing wow since 2008.
I never even knew buying game time in set increments was a thing you could do online (just the 60 day cards from best buy/etc).
Juat sub for 1 month and insta-cancel. It literally takes less than 45 seconds. I’ve done it dozens, if not hundreds, of times in 15ish years.
In order for me to purchase 180 days of gametime (or the closest thing similar) it will require extra resources.
I either have to pay extra money to get equal game time (using the 29.99/60 days).
Or I have to use a completely different payment option.
So.
Yes.
Extra resources.
Ok. But why should I have to pay extra using a completely different card format, and not the payment format I have used for years?

I don’t doubt this. But for it to be about transaction fees they have to narrow ALL options down to one. I think narrowing down the subs to 60 days is going to hurt them more than the game time purchases.
It would also mean those other countries don’t bring in enough money for Blizz to care if they lose their business. It means they are spending more on fees than they are raking in. I don’t know the sub or player numbers in those areas myself.
Exactly my point. Better stock prices mean better dividend checks as well. When they are giving lower employees their bonus as stock options? Meh. But when Bobby gets 200mil in stock as a “bonus” and then this happens? 
Many executives don’t worry about the cyclic nature of their stock prices - until it affects them personally.
Last night after I wrote this I thought “if this was merely about transaction fees, they would narrow all options”. Then I realized that narrowing the options on sub span (30/90/180) would be even better. People would sub for their mandatory 60 or 90 days, play for only a month, but they got your money so oh well.
TIL a lot of wow players don’t actually read everything in a single paragraph or don’t retain information. This explains my group’s for M+ I’ll tell you what.
It shows who has only subbed and didn’t realize there were other options.

Here is the thing, They are taking away options on sub time. Soon they will get rid of the 60 days on the shop, Only make the wow token give gold and nothing eles.forcing people to do renewing sub hopping they will forget to cancel.
This is clearly testing the waters to see what they can get away with.
And yes no one is saying it is hard to cancel sub.
what we are saying is they are becoming more and more anti consumer. During a world pandemic is a very scummy thing to pull

Try to get it refunded then cancel your subscription. They’ll get the message.
Just coming back to reiterate how stupid a change this is. (and pass out some 
) The current Blizzard team is the cause for your subscription decline. 2 months at a time won’t save you and will only hurt you.
Let me use a phrase you’re familiar with… You think you do but you don’t.

So this way they can move subs to 60 day options. Forget to cancel your 60 day sub? Well now they get an extra $30.
Many will say “well just remember to cancel”, but the reasons people don’t cancel services like this are varied and can even be related to a personal emergency. I know they say Blizz will refund if you cancel in the middle, but what about a month or two later?
