Changes this week PLEASE!

Can we start getting weekly changes for PvP instead of biweekly(we’re lucky if it’s that often)? I’m sure classes will get closer in balance over the expansion but I don’t want to wait a year for that to happen.

I understand your frustration, but I actually believe Biweekly (or even monthly) is much better than weekly.

A week’s worth of data isn’t really sufficient to determine whether or not a buff/nerf has a significant impact when you consider how many confounds there are. I think that the biweekly changes they’ve done/are doing are excellent and hope they continue (looking at warriors here)

The issue with the biweekly changes is I don’t even think blizzard knows how to go about changing the status quo at this point, I think they are just sacking season 1 tbh. It’s too far into the dev cycle for them to actually put thoughtful changes into this season, pvp is a side project for them after all.

The game is basically in maintenance mode right now, I doubt anything useful is gonna change if they’ve already fumbled the ball for the past 2 months this hard.

I actually think things are really close to balanced at the top end. Warriors could use some nerfs to intervene specifically and probably their sustained damage (burst is fine), but outside that I think most of the top tier classes are fine and all relatively/situationally strong and viable!

I think all blizzard needs to do now is bump up the underperforming specs

Yes totally convoke is fine. So is divine toll /s

No changes AND they are celebrating their 30th with an online blizzcon in February. I hope there are so many technical difficulties that the celebration turns into mourning.

It’s like they don’t have dev teams like every other software company. I work for a software company and we have to patch every two weeks. It’s against our contract to not try to consistently put out improvements. That’s for every aspect of our software.

From what I’ve read their developers are underpaid and overworked. You can tell with how they rush bad content out alongside horrible bugs they need to fix.

At this point maybe they are just in maintenance mode and have given up on wow?

The thing is they have no clue what to do. Arm warrior is dominating 2s ladders and we see too many fire mage/warrior comp in AWC, and they keep buffing arm warriors. They just buffed them 3% last week even there are already too many warriors in the AWC. There are zero warlock in AWC and they keep nerfing warlock. The Dev team is totally a joke.

Nerf intervene and bring back the old spell reflect

Arms Warrior is dominating 2s, 3s, and RBGs. The class is broken.

Agree with you that one week isn’t enough time to generate reliable data to implement changes, but we are ~2 months into the season and there are tons of things that could be adjusted via weekly updates based on the data they already have from these two months.

Once they catch up with all the changes, then I would be totally ok with balance changes happening monthly or even every other month.
