worked just fine for me and everyone I know the last 2 days /shrug
What the heck was this change even for? You turned a system that was easily accessible and in a convenient spot into something entirely convoluted and comes with no explanation at all. This was like taking 1 step forward and 3 steps backwards. Should have just left the primal storm vendors alone. It wasnât even broken to begin with.
Im sorry, this is a god aweful change to something that wasnt broken.
It could have been planned and tested better, but honestly this is just an inconvenience. Iâm assuming the bugs will get fixed once Blizzard figures out the cause, and then what remains is a pretty minor usage and information issue. Adding a âwhere can I upgrade my gear?â dialogue to the previous vendors would be a good start. Then we just need a way to preview stats for upgrades before buying the base item. Or just roll back the upgrade changes. I could live with that.
War Mode and Primal Storms gear obtained at level 70 prior to this patch will still be upgradeable. However, War Mode gear obtained pre-level 70, before the patch, will not be upgradeable.
Well all my primal gear i bought at 70 isnt able to upgrade⌠soooo thats seems to be untrue.
Yeah, I donât think the blue post accounted for the bugs in the upgrade process. Its a mess right now.
I was able to upgrade 1 item the day the 10.0.5 went live. The next day when they âfixedâ this i can no longer upgrade. And all items were bought at level 70. So should work like they say.
So yeah, I m just going to wait now.
Raises handâŚyes hello ten plus years in IT. Did anyone think of keeping both? Or I donât know having the NPC tell people ingame? Users donât like it when this happens. Most people I know thought it was just removed as they donât come to forums.
So ⌠how then do we know how many sigils we need for each upgrade so we can choose a gear-upgrade path to pursue? We canât until we try to upgrade? Wow, thatâs AWFUL.
Look, I understand your software developers want a single mechanism for upgrades. But letâs be clear - that mechanism is AWFUL, requires people to depend on outside sources like wowhead to know what to do, and - while more efficient for your software maintainers - creates a terrible experience for your users.
Does Corxian take Storm Sigils? He seems to only want Trophy of Strife.
