Hey Blizz, someone else had a really great idea to change the name of the marksman spec to falconer and if we change the eagle to a falcon, I think it could work perfectly. By the way, thanks for the changes to the spec. I tried them out on the PTR and I really liked them. maybe we could change the spec name as well and just make it a brand new deal the same way you did with changing combat rogue to outlaw.

Falcons could very well be used for other things in this fantasy game.
It should at least be race specific. Eagles are a tauren thing, and I guess human. No one else though. And it should change upon selecting your hero talent, because an eagle does not mesh with the vibe of either dark ranger or sentinel.

Just let the Hunter choose any flying pet from their stable. Or even a non flying pet, if the animations don’t matter that much. I haven’t tried the PTR, so I don’t know, personally.
If this motions to not getting rid pets completely, I’m for that. I want my MM Hunter to have a stag or horse.

Falcon glyph or just let hunters have whatever bird of prey they want by tamng them.
It’ll better sense for each race to have their own bird of prey or just let it be player choice.
Eagles are mostly for high mountain tauren fantasy.

It makes sense just to let people pick the bird people want to have with if birds is all MM is allowed.
This way the stable can be still some use too.

I’ve created a thread where removing pets from MM hunters is a terrible idea. Feedback was astronomical. We’re talking hundreds of likes. The majority doesn’t want pets to be removed.

Save that excuse tight in your pocket. Should MM Hunter mains (not on this forum) come to find out that they’ve lost their pet, you can assume they’ll be voting with their wallet. Same with a few RP’ers.
