Yeah i thought my internet was tweaking or that windows needed an update or something but (even tho it sucks) im happy it isnt something im dealing with alone

I was disconnecting ENDLESSLY in HOV 13+ and even outside of the dungeon every 10 secs-5secs I was having to log back in , it stopped when I changed my password to my account and logged back in, I highly suggest everyone having this same issue right now change your password and it’ll stop i came here but i’m also submitting a ticket on my behalf, even with all these disconnects i managed to get KMS even as I was unable to heal at the same time, i couldn’t move or cast I wasn’t able to say anything in chat at all to guild party i was in discord with someone in group as someone else was watching me endlessly REPEDETIFLY dcing.

i mean in all retrospect. if it’s not an issue anywhere else then WoW. it kinda is on them. may not be there servers but if there’s a connection issue not on my end why should i try to fix it? also it’s alot more then 60 people. most just don’t complain because they assume it’s just WoW being it’s usual… people like this on forums make my eye twitch. because again if i’m on a pay for game then being locked out means eventually i will have to just goto somewhere where people listen. how many downtimes has there been for issues like this to persist. it’s laziness

This was happening to me too a few days ago. It felt the same as when there was an exploit a number of years ago where some character when typed into chat would disconnect other users able to see it. I left /1 and that solved it for me and I haven’t had an issue since. Not positive this is the source though but hopefully this helps.
update on my news, me and everyone in my group have crashed at least once every 5 mins

i mean… sure, they can look into it.
but if severe weather or other unforseen circumstances have caused a server outage somewhere, it’s not blizzards fault… nor is it something you can fix, unless you want to try connecting with a VPN and hope it takes a different route to the server.
again… blizzard don’t own the internet.
it’s a bit silly to lay the blame directly at blizzards feet, when it’s clearly not an issue with their servers.
if it was, everyone would be impacted.
This has been going on for at least 12 hours. It has affected WAAAAY more people than those posting here. There are several threads going about this, and MANY tweets. It’s not an ISP issue, it’s not a server outage issue, it’s not a pc issue, it’s not an issue that can be fixed with a VPN, it’s not a weather issue, it’s not user error… gee, that leaves… um… A blizzard issue… and they say they’re looking into it, but here we are over 12 hours later with no resolution… I (personally) have to wonder, are they really looking into it, or are they just ignoring that it’s been going on since the servers came back up after maintenance and hoping for it to work itself out?
That being said, is it really that “silly” to lay the blame at blizzard’s feet? NO… It may not be a server issue, but there is definitely SOMETHING going on with it. It’s too widespread to be a “coincidence”, different time zones, different servers, different ISPs, different pc’s, different users, all having the same problem with the same game since maintenance. Sounds like something went wrong during maintenance and they don’t know what or why (or won’t admit to it anyways).

It is on their end given the number of people having the same problem. It’s too wide spread to be a local outage or a weather related thing.
The fact that it doesn’t impact everyone, doesn’t mean it’s not on blizzard’s end. It could still very well be “Blizzard’s system is breaking with players where X condition is true” where whatever X is, it’s not universal. But it also doesn’t appear whatever X is, is on the player (ISP, storm, etc)

if it was blizzards end, everyone would be having a problem.
i live in MAINE usa, Ive been getting disconnects for the past two days. i even did the DELETE folders, uninstall /reinstall WOW. still getting disconnects… its getting annoying beyond belief!
I have fiber internet and it is 100% NOT my internet connection.
WTF BLIZZARD???

we had two healers getting that problem last night
just happened to me again!!! GAHHHH!!!
Seeing it constantly on Argent Dawn and worse in the Dragonflight zones than elsewhere. I can connect to other servers and play uninterrupted but Argent Dawn is a no go… every 5 or so.
bump - i’m running into the same thing, when I log off a character to swap to another I also get a blank character screen and have to relog into my account in order to see my characters.
