The country did vote Democrat during the mid-terms and so far there has been ZERO legislation helping the “little guy.” There has, however, been investigation upon investigation launched against the President. I am a Democrat, but if my party continues on this jihad against the president and doesn’t do something for the people. I will not be voting for them in 2020.

So far? First of all it hasn’t even been a month. Second of all what exactly do you expect the House to do with the Senate still in Republican control? You do understand the new House took control in January and how our Government works right? You do remember the government has been shut down for 3 of the 4 weeks the House has been in Democrat control right?
Meanwhile Republicans in control of all 3 branches ONLY gave us a huge tax cut for the rich. No wall, (not that i wanted one but that’s what you people voted for right,) no super awesome health care plan that covers everyone cheaper, no complete victory over ISIS, (we’re running away instead) I can go on.

The bad stock (which is correcting for the overly optimistic growth assumptions made by analysts last year) doesn’t necessarily mean bad company.
Acti-Blizz still made billions of dollars in profits last year and will again this year. That’s in profits, as what’s left after paying all expenses.
What’s ironic is that the game industry analysts make mid-six figures and more couldn’t see what gamers could. They were pumping video game stocks even after all the bad earnings calls last Oct-Nov. When video game Youtubers make better calls than the professional analysts on Wall Street, you have to wonder what’s up. lol
It is different. Democrats make deals behind our backs and enrich themselves WHILE they do what we want. Republicans lie to our faces, do whatever they want, (the tax cut bill was WILDLY unpopular and still passed on strict party lines) and then throw up a scary monster to oppose to get reelected. USA Today had an article yesterday quoting the IRS saying that among early filers so far, tax refunds have been lower this year than last.
Of course, most (wise) Americans know why. That’s why the corporate giveaway tax cut bill passed last year was so unpopular. My goodness do you not know how estimated withholding work? Getting less refund does not necessarily mean people paid more taxes.
Ficticois example: if taxes were 10% and you made 10,000 dollars and they withheld 1,000 dollars. But because you don’t make enough they refund you your 1,000 dollars. Next year If they lower taxes to 8%, they would withhold 800 dollars. Again you did not make enough to pay taxes so the refund you 800 dollars. You got a smaller refund but you did not pay higher taxes. In both years you paid zero taxes. This is partly what is happening combined wealthy people in high state-tax states are paying more by design. So yeah refunds are lower as expected.
Refund is irrelivent, The only thing that is important is how much tax you pay. Most people paid less taxes, higher income people paid more taxes.

But to the regular man or woman on the street, all they’ll see is if their tax refund amount changed or not. That’s what people understand. Especially if they didn’t have more in wages or salary than the previous year.
