Celestial Observer keep disappearing

Celestial Observer set i bought with $20 keep disappearing from my transmorg options and i have to spend hundreds of gold on every character to reapply it. I can’t believe it even after so many people reported it still happening and they just keep on selling like nothing happens

It’s a known issue, but doesn’t effect everyone who owns it. I know the root cause was found, but a fix was still being looked into.

it’s a known ongoing bug and hasn’t been squashed yet.

Indeed. This is a confirmed game bug, so nothing you do with your computer will necessarily fix it. The act of logging out and logging back in again is likely what prompted the return - but it’s not guaranteed to return during relogging, it’s just a chance. If you’ve been hit by this, I’d recommend not reapplying the transmog until the bug can be fixed.
