So like, are we getting the thing we paid for in time to actually use it? You told us when everything else is going to be out? When are we getting a shipping notification?
It was bad enough, but somewhat reasonable, in a horrid twisted business way that we can’t get our digital items without our physical copy.
But we don’t even know if we will have it for pre patch, or even how many weeks before launch?
Will we once again, be denied and delayed behind others for daring to spend more money than normal but not wanting to spend even more than that? Because now it will matter as it’s now gameplay.
Like, an email, or a smaller side blue post, a tweet at this rate, would be nice…
Some say it delivers before the release, but what I’m annoyed about is that I once again have to sit back and watch everyone get to play with their envokers before I do because I wanted the collectors edition and not just want credit back for spending even more money.
It’s bad, but workable to not let me have my mount or wings or pet and such, but really a whole feature of the game I bought, I’m still going to have to wait for or cough up another 50 or more bucks?
Pinned at the top of this forum is this thread. See if it covers your questions. I’m not sure if it does, but thought it would be a good place to check.
This is not what I’m talking about.
I am very aware that if I want the items now, I have to buy the digital codes and will eventually get the physical and get credit back.
But the evokers, during pre patch, can only be made by those who pre order. (or have a pre order attached to their account)
Therefore, if you wish to play the class that is considered a major part of the new epac, you have to spend the extra 50 or more bucks to be able to do so.
Even if you spent the 150 to get the physical copy.
The items being held back wasn’t a problem for me. I don’t like it, but it’s not a problem. It’s a handful of cosmetic, flashy items. Not a part of the expansion.
My problem is they can’t even provide an idea of when to expect it + the chance that I will miss out on playing my evoker at the same time so many others will because I refused to pay 200+ dollars on DF.
They can give dates for everything else, but not for ship date.
And
Once again, those who bought the most expensive version are being told to spend more money (because you only get credit back, not the money back) to be able to play at the same time as everyone else.
The website still says “sometime before Dec”. So they can’t even let us know if we’ll have it for lunch officially.
It seems stupid they can’t even get an idea of when this items will be shipped out, when they know when the game comes out.
Used to.
Shadowlands shipped out the second week of October. Got mine on October 13th. Had the original release date held, this would have been two weeks before launch.
Assuming that’s the plan once again. I’m expecting mine the week of November 13th.
I mean, it was only JUST announced today. Give it a day or two.
I say if we don’t have an answer by the weekend, then we’ll be free to complain come Monday.
That sucks. Especially when this is a problem of their own making. They could easily apply a digital code when you purchase and then mail the physical items later. Especially for people who purchase directly from their online store.
I’m not sure why they just don’t have a generated coding for the system that says, “this person ordered the CE,” so that they have all the digital items and then get the box later.
I’m super lost, I preorder 2 copies of the physical collectors edition. My credit card shows Blizz taking the money, but I cant find any proof or record of it in my transaction history. I opened a ticket and I was basically told “not our issue”. Imo out $280.00 and no way to know if I’m even getting mine, any advise??
You should’ve gotten an email ~2 weeks ago saying they’re going to ship it sometime in early November (no specific date).
What you can also try is go to the gear store site ( or use the link below), scroll to the bottom, and select “My Account”. Once you log in the order should be listed under “Recent Orders”.
