CC Member's take on Race/Class Combos

Oh my god almost like if some Draneai wanted to learn how to be a warlock because they have been exposed to people using fel for good ends and not just ravaging the country side with it.

so when you were born, your religion and culture were locked in stone, no change will ever be possible.

But Draenei culture revolves around not using Fel, that’s literally what makes them a Draenei. If you change everything a culture is based on, is it STILL that culture?

This.

Just opening things for the sake of opening them is silly. It’s ok if you click accept in every quest and do not read a thing, and want your class/race unlocked.

But at least know why people who care for this story is against it.

You do realize this was covered earlier and you’re ignoring it, right?

I also provided a bunch of examples of characters in the actual lore of the game that are in lore, in the story, like actually actually night elf paladins, undead paladin, blood elf druids and human druids

Which means drumrollllllll YOU are actually the one ignoring concrete evidence that these combos are not only possible, but they are in the game RIGHT NOW

And you’re still completely ignoring what I said.

Also: Blizz was the one who specifically told us that our player characters follow the culture of our race and that the rare one-off examples weren’t the norm and weren’t what we should be. Those examples also don’t cover what others are looking for.

And you’re still ignoring what I said earlier. How about you go back and read what I said about adding new combos before you act so belligerent?

Blizz dev: “You think you want classic warcraft
 but you don’t”
Guess we’ll never have classic wow because the blizz dev said no =/

Still refuse to go back and read, eh?

No, you hand wave the in game actual lore while defending the lore by ignoring the lore

so i hand wave you with an example of the devs (one of thousands) saying they arent going to do something the players want because “”"“reasons”"""

They are no different from anyone else. They have their opinions and they base their writing on them. However, being chosen for the CC can make people think their opinions are more valuable than those that others who are not of the Chosen, see Prosident.

Gonna stop you right there. You’re not worth the time if you won’t even read what’s been said.

If you can’t be bothered to comprehend how such things have been covered and compromised, just because you want to pick a fight, then I have no reason to read nor respond to you after this. I’ve been nothing but open and compromising and polite in here, yet you keep acting condescending and trying to argue when everything you’re whining about what already covered.

is that still a thing? Wild.

cool cool, hidden profile makes for a little more effort to ignore you, its good that you admit you have no standing for blocking any race any class though

BTW finding a viewpoint you can’t argue against isn’t “picking a fight” just for your future travels through the interwebs!

Warlocks and monks should be a thing after imo. Monks I think should go with the mages/rogues/priests since its just 3 races.

I hope blizzard at least adds new monks for dragonblight launch because goblin monk is something I wanted for a long time, so was tauren rogue, then I made a tauren monk, but then race changed it to nightborne, then zandalari, might finally be a goblin monk like I wanted though.

I would love shamans to be next
but I feel like it’s a bunch of assets (totems) to make, I know they can do that but I think that delays them a bit.

They do make good shaman totems though.

Can’t wait to see all the new totems.

My point is proven. You’re incapable of having a real discussion and have to bring up completely irrelevant points.

Hidden profile is only useful for one thing: so that creepy people who sit there and watch you type can’t post stuff like, “you type slow” or “are you writing a novel” or “you must be so mad to still be typing” even if someone just walked away for a while or was looking up information to share.

I always love when people say “Your hidden profile shows everything I need to know.”

Like, no. All it shows is that you’re a weird stalker who thinks using non-relevant posts someone makes as “evidence” is helpful for your argument, lol.

Exactly, this is why I have it on lol. They made it so the only way we can hide the “Maizou is typing
” is to hide our entire profile. Otherwise I wouldn’t care enough to hide it. I just got sick of rude comments because I decided not to reply, etc.

To note, the post Letholas replied to was mine, where I said there was now going to be 107 combos for Horde and 103 combos for Alliance.

I then gave a way for Blizzard to even this out without breaking any currently established lore, and I don’t think anyone has argued that the things I suggested in that post would be too off. It was literally:

Unlock Monks (Lightforged, Goblin, Worgen), give Humans Shaman/Druid with the Kul Tiran assets (lore wise they’d just be KT, with the “skinny” model), and if they want to make it completely even and not just one off, Kul Tiran Warlock.

There’s nothing in the lore contradicting KT Warlocks, it’s never even mentioned in the story that it’s frowned upon. If anything, Drustvar confirms KT Warlocks do exist in some regard lol.

Also Worgen Monks, just drink a metric ton of that elixir stuff they give you at the start of the Worgen turning quest chain and meditate in a Druid of the Scythe barrow. The Worgen starting zone has like 3 basins for centering one’s mind and controlling the inner beast RIGHT THERE.

If blizzard goes through and adds all the race/class combos anyway it’s not like it matters much. Personally I think monks would be nice too, since its 3 race combos and 2 are alliance.

Shaman takes resources which they said some combos they delay for art assets, some are lore like warlocks and they will set up a little bit of it.
