He makes Amber Heard’s lawyers look capable.
This is insane dude. Wtf is he even attempting to debate at this point?
It does, Fel slowly mutates what it’s around into a Demon, it might take some time but eventually a Draenei Warlock WOULD twist into a Manari. the Blood Elves reverted cause of the restored Sunwell.
I don’t see why Draenei can’t just get a range of red skin tones and have a second visual theme like VEs do if they added warlocks.
I have no real care in this “more classes” thing the only thing I care about is Horde has the Elf Paladin combo currently and Alliance has the Elf Druid combo, I am fine w neither infringing on either but if Alliance gets Elf Paladin I would like to see Horde get Elf Druid preferably through Blood Elves (especially if it’s NEs getting possibly getting Paladin) who have long had a vested interest in healing the dead scar.
Bro. We’re done. Using fel doesn’t make you a fel infused being otherwise every playable Warlock would be some demon, which they’re not. Draenei utilizing fel does not make one a Man’ari. They are, and always will be, an Eredar until they drink fel juice.
You are wrong. End. All.
They ARE:
(or I should say WERE until the Legion class changes)
I think his point is that you can never ever learn or be taught anything too far from the exact spot where you were born… which is awkward because, like you, your parents were also unable to leave the square foot or so where they were born, that is your “culture” that cannot and will not be changed ever.
So i guess in game he feels that your character should stand in one spot… on top of a mountain of your dead ancestors who also knew nothing of the world.
No dude, but we’re done so w/e.
My point being cultures do not change their roots, they may change in minor ways, but a Draenei is not going to pick up Fel for political and cultural normative reasons, plain and simple. Not to mention a LFD that would ACTUALLY EXPLODE dealing with Fel and how Warlocks use it canonically.
No? I literally showed you where they become half demon, kinda hard to deny no?
Wait I guess I need to find my Irish and German roots cuz I don’t think we really bother. Or should I go with the American ones I have now you know since my culture is from what my family is currently around, not what it was 100/200/300 years or how many you want back. I’m sure Draenei in a void without other races would stay fairly the same but they have integrated into societies since then they have seen other cultures and once that start barriers come down sometimes slowly some times fast.
No, no. You’re not allowed to change at all.
You did change genetically as well yes? WoW’s races don’t really “change” biologically (without outside forces of magic), which is another failure of lore that a cross between an Orc and a Draenei still looks 100% like an Orc…
Not even a small tentacle here or there…
Wait so culture only changes with evolution? So you’re saying that humans have undergone some major evolutionary change in the last 100 years? Cuz that’s about how long it’s been since my great grandfathers came over.
Yeah they essentially nailed this with the Exiles Reach starting area. They made it pretty generalized so any race could be any class when interacting with the NPCs of the island.
I mean hell, we see Draenei even in TBC doing their own thing against their peoples wishes. Blade’s Edge Mountains has Draenei poaching things willy nilly so it’s clear they have never been a hivemind.
You’re using Irish and German roots, I supplied the WoW equivalent… though I guess Dwarves are basically Irish not Orcs?
Let’s look at the number each faction would gain if the class was opened up to everyone (including Pandaren):
Monk: 2 Alliance, 1 Horde
Warlock: 5 Alliance, 5 Horde
Paladin: 7 Alliance, 9 Horde
Shaman: 7 Alliance, 3 Horde
Druid: 9 Alliance, 8 Horde
Demon Hunter: 11 Alliance, 11 Horde
If we consider the ones already coming (mage, rogue, priest), Alliance will gain 2 while Horde gains 6.
To make it fair, you could unlock shamans for everyone. That would put the total gains at 9 Alliance and 9 Horde.
Not even close based on your logic Thrall must be an evolutionary oddity because he has tried to make peace with humans not just enslave/kill them. Gilneanins (sp) and Kul Tirians are humans, that are culturally different than the normal ones to the point they can be druids. We have like 80 something different troll cultures but they all came from zandalari trolls out the gate.
Everyone pretty much jumped from cultural and learned to be monks once the Pandarians showed up.
Okay, so you’re going to ignore everything I said. It does make sense and you’re choosing to cherry pick statements and not respond to the rest.
This is a terrible comparison and nowhere near close to cultural or even religious beliefs.
Exactly, different cultures who do different things. Even in the same species. That was the point, a Mag’har is not an Orc, well not a Fel corrupted one anyways…
