He did give me a bunch of his shirts and other things before leaving, and I will be surrounding myself with those.
I don’t know what I believe there, but I would take any memory like that. Do you get smells like that often or just that once?
Maybe he was just trying to tell her a cat was the way to go. Some times we don’t know we love them until later. But one thing for sure, animals have a strong ability to help you heal if you just let them show you.

My friend had a cat that I could totally do that to. I could also place my hand on his belly, spin him around on his back and slide him away and he’d come running back over and over. He loved it and it was the most amusing thing.
I’m allergic as well and it took a few months after I lost my cat to realize how much pain and constant discomfort I was experiencing from it. I had become so used to it. I really want that shot to come out.
Here’s my old cat Zoe and my parent’s dog Lily.

Since I can’t post pics directly I’ll try this:
This is our dog, this pic tells you pretty much everything you need to know about him, he’s a happy, energetic, dope.
Mystic the liquid portal cat, who I swear she can teleport among other things.
Also our old orange tabby sharing a window with mystic.
Oh wow, that worked,

About three times. And many beautiful dreams over the years, but for the first few years the dreams are tough; our brains trying to make us accept things, while out hearts long to deny.
My Mum and Dad died within months of each other, and after both deaths my boyfriend at the time (Who became my husband, father of my children, then my ex and is now my good friend) bought me a kitten! These really helped me focus on the positive, and re-directed a lot of the energy I would have spent grieving into caring for those two babies.

So gorgeous.
Is Zoe a British Long-hair?

I can see how that would be helpful. Any baby animal takes a lot of work, and can be a good thing to focus on. Maybe I should go get a new puppy…I’m lightly joking. Sounds like you had great support though, and that makes me smile.

Thank you!
I’m not entirely sure what Zoe was. I distinctly remember someone at my vet’s office calling her a flame tip and maybe tabby. Her ears were really red.
She always wanted to be on your lap and was extremely persistent. Once there she was not moving. lol She also loved rubbing her head against my beard.
You NEED a new puppy!
I’m saving for a German Shepherd puppy atm.

Oh! Good choice, beautiful dogs!
What should I get? Maybe something more mellow that won’t feed my aussie/cata mix’s energy.

Okay a couple more of Mystic and Conner I just found. The fact that I can post pictures may or may not be a good thing depending on one’s opinion.

My doggo’s okay. He didn’t ask questions as we took him for a walk earlier. He just enjoyed having an entire parking lot to himself to run around and bounce with every step. And he eats with us at every opportunity. So he’s not going hungry or stressing out.
For him? It’s just normal daily life, just with more time with us than usual. And he’s not complaining about it.
Sylveon looks just like my cat Bruiser. He’s doing fine, he’s fat and happy.
I’m bored witless. Such is life.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are probably the silliest dogs, but they are so loving, and happiest when they can be on your lap!
This is Delilah, she’s also coping well with the Pandemic! (This photo was taken last winter, (July; I’m an Aussie) mid-drought, our lawn is lush and green now!) She has the silliest grin!
A zoom-in…

Daw. Orange kitties are always precious. Seriously almost all the orange ones are the most dog like of cats. Little people pleasers.
Even Cats the musical knows this because one of the big fan favorite songs ( and the only good song in the movie ) is Skimbleshanks. If I mentioned that already in another thread then my bad. Bad short memory.

I’ve often said that orange tabbies always seem to have the best dispositions. I know our orange tabby Lily is a sweetheart.
Mystic’s father is an absolutely enormous orange tabby named Tank (roughly 20lb cat and none of that is fat), she looks like her mom but there’s a couple of spots of orange in her fur.

Applebear, I’ve been quiet on the forums for some time now, but wanted to chime in and offer you a virtual hug.
I’d post a picture of my baby kitty CJ, but I’m nowhere near TL3 anymore. CJ’s a champagne color kitty who is twice as soft as he looks. My little Jezzra cat could have been named Vanta she’s so black. They’re both rescues from different times.
I’ll eh… be hiding over here again, jes’ wanted you to know there’s one more person who wants you to be happy. But these things take time.

My little 5 year old tux kitty has been pretty happy with my sudden constant presence. He was a little stressed a couple weeks ago from moving, but that’s all done with and he’s settled in.
