So true. Sylveon was given to my son, yet he chose me. My son is not upset, we have a few cats, a sweet dog and two guinea pigs; there’s enough love for all.
Not many cats are okay with kids. They always seem to know “Hey this human wants me probably the least. They’re perfect.”
I certainly loved Sylveon from the moment I saw him, I must admit!
I’ve always adored cats, and he looked at me, with big kitten eyes, and I recognised him! Strange, but now, if I lived in the middle ages, I’d be burned as a witch because he cannot be apart from me!
I love cats too but I’m allergic. Even the hairless ones have juuuuuuuuuuuuust enough dander to cause a bad reaction.
Well. It’s kinda weaker compared to when I was a kid. But it still causes gunk to form in my wind pipe so it feels like I’m slightly underwater.
I do know there’s an allergy shot in the works to pretty much cure that allergy. They better freaking hurry up with that. I wanna adopt a black cat. They have such a low adoption rate because of that stupid superstition. It’s not fair
Benn wondering about you, hope everything is ok!
No.
I will be, just takes time. soft smile
I’m ok with saying what’s going on, but don’t want to derail Miriels thread, but if you want to know…just tell me to get on the launcher some time and I’ll fill you in on my silence. hugs
It’s a discussion, threads always get back on track. XX
I’m happy for you to talk, Apple.
Our newest cat is a little gray and white thing, named Mystic. She’s sweet and an unholy terror at the same time. I’ve never met another cat that is just so “boneless” is the best way to describe it.
If I had could rename her, I’d go with Mercury because she just sort of flows everywhere, and when you pick her up it almost feels like she’ll slip right through your hands if your not careful.
Such an evocative description of her!
Ok, well if it’s crossing the line or anything, just tell me to delete it.
But my dad has been in hospice for quite some time [which some know, especially from the T3 forum music thread-thank you guys], and he passed on this past Thursday. I took it pretty hard…
Oh, I’m so sorry. It’s really hard going through that, I hope you have some strong support?
I lost my parents years ago, it’s so profound, and re-writes how we identify ourselves. To move forward without them…
Those beautiful puppies must give you comfort.
That’s a very exposed photo
I didn’t post the REALLY exposed photo, it was indecent.
Oh wow… Thank you for being humane.
Thank you, I appreciate that. Sadly the support is difficult, I was the only one crying at his viewing…it’s not that no one cared, it’s just how my family is [very emotionally closed off, hate hugs, etc]…
For me, my dad is the support I lost…he always accepted me for whatever/whoever this crazy thing I am, and now he’s gone. I feel like I lost the only one that understood me. It’s crazy, I know. hehe
But yes, those pups help a lot…dogs are always good like that [unconditional always].
Not my cat obviously but here’s one I follow. I swear their meow has a southern accent.
The little play chomps are still cute
Kiss those feetsies and rub dat bellah! Beautiful kitteh!
Rejoice in being unique. I hope, wherever they go, our loved ones are always by our side, and your Dad will always uphold the wonderful individual you are.
My Dad was an artist, and about a year after he died I was going to bed, and I’d been so sad that day; suddenly I smelt the strongest smell of him; Turps, cigarettes and Linseed oil, none of which I had in the house. I always believed he was there.
/Hugs.
My Mum hated cats before she met my Dad, and he LOVED them. It took a month before they owned their first cat together, and mum was smitten by them! Animals truly are such joy.
