Cats make me sneeze and itch.
Cats are wizards.
Cats make me sneeze and itch.
Cats are wizards.
I rescued an abandoned kitten that acts like this. He’s super sweet for the most part but then something flips a switch and his rage timer kicks in!
As he get’s older though he’s calming down, so hoping it’ll eventually stop as my fingers, hands and forearms are torn to shreds and I can’t afford to lose any finger function when playing Warcraft…obviously!
I’m having a hard time getting my cat to take a very important pill. It’s been upsetting for both of us today.
He only does this in the bedroom…
When I’m playing he’ll either try to push over my monitor or stand next to me patting my arm for pets.
No, it’s when I’m laying in bed… he’ll jump my face and bite me in the forehead area! like wth!?
Yeah, giving a pill to a dog is easy.
Me:“Here’s a cracker with peanut butter that totally doesn’t have something in it!”
Dog: “OKAY!”
Cats, however, are like this: “I see through your ruse, petty human. I will never surrender.”
Use a pill injector. IT works for me.
Cat is 4 fite
In the morning, my cat is all over the bed as I struggle to make it. In the way, talking (she’s always talking in the morning), sometimes she’ll attack the covers with her feet. I work around her.
At night, it similar drama with the talking and the pacing and playing with the mice on the bed.
Her sister needs to be escorted to her food. She will come to me and cry until I get up and take her to her dish with the food in it.
This happens several times a day, and typically twice over night. It is not uncommon to be up at 4 in the morning.
She also tends to cry and want attention as soon as I hit the couch. This mean treats, a walk around the house, play time in the other room, etc. She’s not content to get that where I am, it’s always someplace else.
It can be a real pain.
I love these cats immensely.
We have a 3rd cat in a separate room. He has been here now going on 10 weeks. He has a very powerful fear anxiety that my wife has been nursing every day, hours each day, since we brought him back from the shelter.
He spent his first 4 days under a chair, and did not eat. Today he’s up and about, asking to be petted (a little), playful, and becoming more and more comfortable in his space. Active at night, he sits in his tree at night. He relapses occasionally (he fled in to the closet the other day and just stared at us with saucer eyes, but came out the next day).
Hopefully we’ll be able to introduce him to the others in the next couple of weeks.
This is a lot of effort, and emotionally exhausting. I’ve been bit by him once and went to the urgent care (early on).
But, no, this cat isn’t going anywhere. We love this cat as well.
Cats are a pain in the neck. But, worth it, to us.
I bought a skein of expensive silky yarn to make myself a scarf. My cat got into my knitting and tangled it beyond repair.
I miss you Snowball
As the proud daddy of 7 cats, 5 of which are kittens who just celebrated their first birthday, my babies only make me happy. They are little aholes sometimes, they’ve broken 2 $100 cat trees and like to slap all of the water from their 1.5 gallon water fountains out but they still only make me happy.
Praise kitty for doing it in the correct place.
I love this thread, and I love you all!
I have so many stories of my purrbabies, alas! I am still foggy in my brain at the moment from my surgery yesterday and will need a day or two to recover. When I have I shall remember this thread and offer my own stories.
Take some rest, dear Wîccan.
My young tomcat feels it is his duty to chase, bite and otherwise torment my older girl kitty about 5% of the time. The other 95% he’s happily sleeping or playing with us. Or on his Fast Cat wheel.
Maybe he’s just trying to make my older kitty exercise
My cat walked through the wires coming out of my last computer, shorted something out, and it was DOA.
I have an elder kitty of about 16y and two siblings I refer to as ‘monsters’ that are 1y. They treat her as pray. They literally chirp when they see her, that same chirp when they see birds… She flees whenever they come close, it’s all a game to them.
She is however not stressed out or upset, just an annoyed crankey old lady.
I had a cat that liked to sit in my lap and rub his head against my chin as hard as he could. He would purr so hard while doing it that he would start drooling on me. He didn’t care if I would push him away, he would come right back. One time I got annoyed, threw him off me and yelled at him. He looked at me with such shock and sadness, and didn’t jump on my lap for days. I never crossed him again.
HOW DARE YOU?!
Poor kitty. Did you apologize?
I never had cats before im not sure how the kittens will be like when they get older i hope it doesn’t become one of those cats from hell shows is see sometimes lol!
My fat cat just pushed open the front door and let herself in. Granted, I’m sure I didn’t close it all the way when I took the trash out but that girl tromps around like she owns the joint. (I will add that I wuvs my kitty, her name is Sophie.
)
Yeah, but he wasn’t having it. He forgave me after a while.
