Catnip Needs to be Infinite Use

Topic. Please change catnip from a fairly expensive consumable to an infinite use item. Feral Druid does not do competitive damage without the MCP/ACP/Catnip gimmick. Feral is already among the worst DPS classes in the game, please don’t make it worse by having to decide if it’s worth spending money on this stuff.

Please make this fun to use! Let me go nuts on trash without it being cost prohibitive.

You only need one per boss per week. I think its fine

That’s not entirely the point. It’s “fun” to use it on trash. It’s “fun” to use it in instances. It’s NOT “fun” to pay 45s per use in either of those cases though and feral stays a dumpster fire spec without spamming them.

Also I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Looks like most the ST fights are longer than 3 minutes. Some are around 10 minutes. You’ll use one of these at the start and roughly every 3 minutes after that so it gets quite costly very fast.

Kind of split on this. On one hand it’s funny/flavorful and not a “huge” deal to pony up.

On the other hand it feels mandatory and integral to the spec to play correctly or optimally. That means it should probably be baked into the class somewhere (ideally not another keybind, haha).

It’s such a small amount of money. I don’t really think it’s an issue unless you don’t do anything to make money. It’s honestly a perfect place to put a gold sink anyhow

yep should be infinite use or cost 1 copper each, stackable to 2000.

while at it they should make a head enchant to give the wolfshead helmet effect

Just use ACP in dungeons/trash/world and save catnip for raid bosses.

Felt Appropriate.

I mean yes, it’s an option, but which class has to deal with this nonsense gimmick of hanging onto an old weapon because the proc is the only reason the class can do damage? They have a real chance here to let feral do damage, have meaningful upgrades, and NOT BE BEHOLDEN to old items to do anything else but raid.

45s is not cheap on these progression bosses. Looking at some of these wipe logs, it would have cost over 50-100g in catnip alone that does nothing to stimulate the economy (pure gold sink) to down Eranikus and Hakkar. That’s ridiculous.

Just because something was horrible before doesn’t mean it should stay awful.

Every classes have their own gimmicks to deal with.

You don’t need to craft expensive bullets, and then trade them in for arrows, taking a whole bag slot.
Feed a pet.
Buy consummables for both Spell damage and Attack Power because of how consummables and scaling works in Vanilla.

Yada, yada.

Honestly, druids have it pretty cozy compared to literally any class that uses both spell damage and attack power when it comes to consummables.

We literally use all the mana regen consumes too.

The difference is hunters are top dps while druids are bottom lol

Feral only uses spell damage consumes if they are using dragon breath chili, which is only done by the 0.0001% top parsers because it’s such a level of degeneracy for a 0.1 DPS gain that it’s not worth doing.

We use mana pots and all the mana regen consumes is what I was referring to. We use str, agi, mana regen, hp, armor… need I go on? We use plenty. Huntard has it best with viper so please go clown somewhere else.

You’re the one who brought up other classes and you use far less consumables than at least 3 of the other classes as a feral druid.

You could have stuck to just complaining about catnip, to which most people would agree is poorly implemented, but you tried to play the “I have it worse than everyone else” card when you have it pretty easily made in comparison to other classes.

I actually said we are trash tier damage without it.

ahh yes, thats why feral is so popular

Yes, and Catnip should be removed from the game, ACP shouldn’t work above 45, and Feral should be rebalanced to do actual damage without needing a 50% haste crutch.
